Due to Chen Mobai's personal considerations, the Eastern Barrens Dragon Vein was not integrated into the Grand Array of Heaven and Earth. For this reason, the Dragon Vein on the Immortal Sect's side only possessed vast dragon vein energy but no sentience. Once integrated into the Grand Array of Heaven and Earth, everything becomes a part of the array, and the only sentience that can exist is that of the array itself.
Although the Eastern Earth Imperial Court's 'Six Dragons Controlling the Heavens' scripture drew considerable animosity, Chen Mobai regarded it as an incredibly precious and complete cultivation path to the Void-Refining stage. Even if he didn't personally utilize this Void-Refining method in the future, he could at least gain insights from it. Alternatively, once he reached the God Transformation stage, he could present it to the Immortal Sect's elite talents for their study. The Immortal Sect, after all, lacked any Void-Refining paths. With this scripture, they might be able to use it as a foundation to draw inferences and develop Void-Refining chapters for other cultivation techniques.
"Master, the consumption of the Eastern Barrens Dragon Vein for refining Hidden Dragon Pills is merely a drop in the bucket," Jiang Zongheng said with a bitter smile after hearing this. It turned out he had already been experimenting with this method, having accumulated nearly a thousand Hidden Dragon Pills.
"We could establish tea plantations on the Dragon Vein, planting them with Green Cicada. Cultivating a few more Fourth-Tier plants should balance the consumption and output," Qing Nü interjected. Qing Nü spoke up. She was also aware of the Hidden Dragon Pills, having been the one to initially comprehend the formula and refine them. Given their similarity to Earth Vein Pills, she succeeded with ease. Once proficient, she taught Jiang Zongheng and even dispatched several alchemists from Danxia Pavilion to assist him.
In addition, Qing Nü possessed a Fourth-Tier Green Cicada Spirit Tea plant. This mother tree, a legacy of Huition Valley for thousands of years, was presented to Qing Nü after Yan Shaoyin's surrender. Subsequently, through Zhuo Ming's diligent efforts and the irrigation of Myriad Transformation Thunder Water, it successfully ascended to the Fourth-Tier. Qing Nü later began taking cultivation-enhancing pills, confident in her ability to calmly neutralize any pill toxins, thanks to the Fourth-Tier Green Cicada Spirit Tea combined with the Immortal Sect's secret methods, provided she didn't overdo it.
This Green Cicada Spirit Tea plant currently resides in Xiaoye Mountain, at the tail of the Dragon Vein in Hua County. Due to its ascension, the plant began competing with the Star-Heaven Dao Sect's Coiling Dragon Spirit Rice for the Dragon Vein energy in Hua County. This competition has caused the Coiling Dragon Spirit Rice harvest to decline by thirty to forty percent in recent decades. While the Star-Heaven Dao Sect harbored internal displeasure over this, they dared not voice any complaints to the current Five Elements Sect. After all, True Lord Xingchen, overseeing the Star-Heaven Grand Chamber of Commerce in Beiyuan City, was aware that Chen Mobai had long desired to acquire their ten thousand acres of Coiling Dragon Spirit Rice. Should an excuse arise, the Five Elements Sect would certainly not hesitate. True Lord Xingchen, for his part, admired Chen Mobai's honesty, trustworthiness, and noble character. If their positions were reversed, and the Star-Heaven Dao Sect found themselves in the Five Elements Sect's shoes, with external territory situated within their core Eastern Barrens domain, they would undoubtedly employ every possible means to seize it or compel the other party to relinquish it. Yet, Chen Mobai abided by the rules, acknowledging the contract between Huition Valley and the Star-Heaven Dao Sect, and never proactively encroached upon the ten thousand acres of Coiling Dragon Spirit Rice in the Eastern Barrens. Consequently, when Qing Nü cultivated the Green Cicada Spirit Tea, absorbing more Dragon Vein energy from Hua County, the Star-Heaven Dao Sect dared not utter a word. After all, the entire Dragon Vein of Hua County belonged to the Five Elements Sect.
Encouraged by this success, Qing Nü believed she could propagate branches from this mother tree and plant tea trees that absorb Dragon Vein energy throughout the central Dragon Vein of the Eastern Barrens Plateau. This would consume the Dragon Vein energy and alleviate the emergence of sentience.
"If we wish to prolong this, we could also purchase Coiling Dragon Spirit Rice seeds from the Star-Heaven Dao Sect," Qing Nü suggested another similar method. If Chen Mobai were willing to extensively consume Dragon Vein energy, he could open up vast spirit fields. However, his primary intention was merely to temporarily maintain the Dragon Vein's current scale. Once he achieved God Transformation, he would no longer need to be concerned about the Daoist Sect.
"By the way, I recall there was a cauldron that came with the 'Six Dragons Controlling the Heavens' scripture, wasn't there?" Chen Mobai asked Jiang Zongheng. He was reluctant to see the Dragon Vein overly depleted and also wished to avoid any intervention from the Daoist Sect. After re-examining the Immortal Sect's records concerning Dragon Veins, he recalled a Fourth-Tier magical artifact he had encountered long ago: the True Dragon Cauldron. This artifact was forged by an esteemed ancestor of the Wuqi Dao Academy during the pioneering wars, refined from a main Dragon Vein of an alternate world. The artifact's primary function was to contain the True Dragon Dharma Aspect, aiding cultivators of the Dragon Transformation Scripture in their advancement. Additionally, it could absorb and store Dragon Vein energy, though this particular feature was largely redundant within the Immortal Sect. Given Chen Mobai's standing, borrowing the True Dragon Cauldron would have been simple. However, considering the continuous need for the Eastern Barrens Dragon Vein in the future, he decided it would be better to forge his own.
"Master, here you go." Upon hearing this, Jiang Zongheng promptly retrieved it from his storage bag. Years ago, a mysterious cave was discovered in Zhao State, containing a precious cauldron, a jade slip, and a skeleton. The jade slip contained the 'Six Dragons Controlling the Heavens' scripture. The precious cauldron, however, was an ancient magical artifact whose rank had diminished over time. Chen Mobai's artifact refining skills were not yet proficient then, so he hadn't noticed anything unusual. Now, upon reflection, he realized this was also an artifact forged from Dragon Vein energy. With minor modifications, he could refine it into the Eastern Barrens' True Dragon Cauldron. Conveniently, among his disciples, Jiang Zongheng possessed the fewest magical artifacts, making this a suitable item for his protection.
In front of his four disciples, Chen Mobai produced the Eight-Scenery Palace Lantern he had refined. With a tap of his fingertip, a purple-green divine flame ignited. As the Myriad Sword Dharma Body activated, two colossal fingers extended from behind Chen Mobai, gently lifted the precious cauldron held in Jiang Zongheng's hands, and placed it over the Dusita Fire. Under the influence of the 'Cantong Qi' scripture, every detail of the artifact became perfectly clear to Chen Mobai. The cauldron's material was exceptionally unique, a blend of various ores and the bones of true spirits. These true spirits were, of course, dragons. However, since the 'Cantong Qi' could only trace its origins back to the time of its refinement, he could only conclude, using his unparalleled artifact refining skill, that the bones likely belonged to a water-attributed Flood Dragon. If so, it was highly probable that these were the royal bones of the Black Flood Dragon Royal Court. At its zenith, the Eastern Earth Imperial Court certainly possessed the power to accomplish such a feat. However, with the erosion of time and the scarcity of Dragon Vein energy, the spiritual essence of this precious cauldron had largely dissipated, by about seventy to eighty percent. To repair it and refine it into a True Dragon Cauldron, this significant deficiency would need to be replenished.
"My dear, do you still have the bones of the Blue Sea Demonic King?" Chen Mobai asked. Chen Mobai recalled the Great Blue Sea King he had slain in Dongwu—a peak Fourth-Tier demonic beast with water attributes and even partial Fifth-Tier characteristics. Its remains would be perfect for enhancing the materials within the precious cauldron. Hearing this, Qing Nü immediately retrieved a variety of powerful bones from her gourd. The carcasses of the powerful demonic beasts slain by Chen Mobai in Dongwu had all ended up with Qing Nü, who dissected and stored them separately. While some of these bones had been ground into powder for alchemy, the vast majority remained.
Chen Mobai carefully selected six bones richest in essence and integrated them into the precious cauldron suspended above the Dusita Fire. He then named several ores, which Zhuo Ming promptly retrieved one by one from the Myriad Things Cauldron of Thick Virtue. Zhuo Ming had cultivated the habit of collecting various ores long ago, a practice that was also one of the cultivation methods for the 'Yellow Emperor's Scripture of Thick Virtue.'
With all the materials assembled, Chen Mobai began to display what was arguably his most supreme artifact refining skill in the Heavenly River Realm. Under the Dusita Fire, various impurities that had been incorporated into the precious cauldron due to imperfect craftsmanship and temperature control were meticulously refined out, transforming into multicolored specks of debris that settled onto the hall floor. During this process, the bones and ores transmuted into streams of colored light, flowing into the cauldron. As he continued the re-refinement process, Chen Mobai also came to understand the meaning of the various inscriptions on the cauldron. The cauldron's original name was the 'Minor Dragon-Capturing Cauldron'! The inscriptions detailed a forbidden technique used by the Eastern Earth Imperial Court for capturing dragons. To activate this technique, one had to use it in conjunction with the cauldron itself.
However, this particular cauldron was a replica. The genuine Dragon-Capturing Cauldron, a Sixth-Tier magical artifact and a supreme heirloom of the Eastern Earth Imperial Court, had vanished long ago when the imperial court disintegrated. Legend had it that three immense dragon claws appeared in the sky, and after a fierce battle with several God Transformation True Monarchs of the Imperial Court, they forcibly seized it. Following the disappearance of the Sixth-Tier Dragon-Capturing Cauldron, the Eastern Earth Imperial Court conscripted the Heavenly River Realm's most skilled artifact refiners to forge nine 'Minor Dragon-Capturing Cauldrons' as replicas. The one in Chen Mobai's hand was among these replicas.
As the 'Cantong Qi' gradually took effect, the inscriptions on the Minor Dragon-Capturing Cauldron slowly vanished. This was not due to melting by the Dusita Fire, but because Chen Mobai refined them into the cauldron's interior. After all, even a Minor Dragon-Capturing Cauldron carried considerable taboo. At the very least, the Black Flood Dragon Royal Court would undoubtedly take action if they were to discover its existence. Since it was being re-refined, it was best to disguise it. With this in mind, Chen Mobai once again infused the Eight-Scenery Palace Lantern with a stream of pure Pure Yang True Qi, causing two more Dusita Fires to ignite. The previously slow refinement process instantly tripled in speed.
Seven days later, as Chen Mobai's divine sense settled, the transformed Minor Dragon-Capturing Cauldron instantly took its complete form. With the Dragon-Capturing forbidden technique concealed, Chen Mobai replaced the cauldron's original patterns on its four sides with designs symbolizing heaven and earth, mountains and rivers, grains and plants, peace across the four seas, and homage from all directions. These designs also subtly represented the achievements of Jiang Zongheng and Chen Mobai himself in governing the Eastern Barrens into such a peaceful and prosperous era.
Once the new cauldron was complete, Chen Mobai asked Qing Nü to retrieve a wisp of Dragon Vein energy. As Dragon Vein energy could also be used in alchemy, Qing Nü had some stored in her gourd. As he activated the cauldron, the Dragon Vein energy, like a wisp of green smoke, curved into an arc, entered the cauldron, and vanished. This signified a successful refinement. It not only retained the original forbidden technique of the Minor Dragon-Capturing Cauldron but also incorporated various functions from the Immortal Sect's True Dragon Cauldron.
"I shall now impart to you a refining incantation. Remember it well..." Chen Mobai instructed, handing the new cauldron to Jiang Zongheng. The other three disciples looked on with envy. Although they each possessed Fourth-Tier magical artifacts, this cauldron was clearly exceptional. "Many thanks, Master!" Jiang Zongheng immediately accepted it with both hands, carefully committing the refining incantation to memory, and began to try it out in front of Chen Mobai.
"Master, please bestow a name upon this cauldron," Jiang Zongheng requested after his initial refinement.
"Let's call it the True Dragon Cauldron," Chen Mobai replied. Chen Mobai, however, was notoriously poor at naming, so he simply borrowed the existing name. After all, the name 'Minor Dragon-Capturing Cauldron' was absolutely out of the question.
"I see..." Qing Nü murmured, a look of understanding dawning on her face, comprehending why Chen Mobai had asked her for Dragon Vein energy just moments before. She was familiar with the True Dragon Cauldron.
"From now on, you will have the arduous task of constantly monitoring the Eastern Barrens Dragon Vein," Chen Mobai instructed Jiang Zongheng. "Should there be any signs of sentience emerging, use this cauldron to absorb and seal a portion of the Dragon Vein energy." To cultivate the 'Six Dragons Controlling the Heavens' scripture, the Dragon Vein's sentience needed to be as robust as possible. Therefore, once he reached the God Transformation stage, he would need to rapidly expand this colossal Dragon Vein that originated from the Eastern Barrens Plateau and flowed throughout the lands. It was precisely for this reason that the Dragon Vein could not be excessively weakened.
"Your disciple obeys." Jiang Zongheng placed the True Dragon Cauldron into his storage bag and bowed respectfully.
After this matter was settled, Liu Wenbai, his eldest disciple, reported on the situation of the Xiaonanshan Shop. Following the reconciliation with the Five Emperors Mountain, the One-Yuan Dao Palace lifted all blockades, leading to a surge of retaliatory spending by Eastern Earth cultivators at the Five Elements Chamber of Commerce and Xiaonanshan Shop. For Eastern Earth, where artifact refining, talisman crafting, and alchemy were predominantly handicraft industries, the products Chen Mobai brought from the Immortal Sect constituted an overwhelming advantage, akin to a dimensional attack. Whenever new items were stocked at the Five Elements Chamber of Commerce and Xiaonanshan Shop, they were invariably bought out in a very short time. Furthermore, Eastern Earth now clearly distinguished between the two establishments. The Five Elements Chamber of Commerce's supermarket sold affordable, high-quality, low-tier consumer goods, while Xiaonanshan Shop specialized in high-end products, emphasizing their value despite the higher price.
"Currently, the sect generates approximately one hundred million spirit stones annually in Eastern Earth, with a net profit of over seventy million after deducting costs. The Five Elements Chamber of Commerce and Xiaonanshan Shop each contribute half of this," Liu Wenbai reported. Liu Wenbai's report made Qing Nü's eyes light up. This profit nearly matched the Five Elements Sect's entire annual earnings from their operations in the Eastern Barrens. It is important to note that this figure was achieved due to Chen Mobai's restraint. If he were to disregard caution and engage in large-scale dumping, the entire Eastern Earth market for First and Second-Tier magical artifacts, talismans, pills, and arrays would be completely overwhelmed by the Immortal Sect's industrialized products.
Given that Eastern Earth was, after all, the Holy Land's territory, Chen Mobai was careful not to overstep. He deliberately limited their market presence to approximately one hundred million spirit stones. Furthermore, Chen Mobai instructed Yue Zutao to procure raw materials from various major factions in Eastern Earth. He even had Liu Wenbai spend all the spirit stones earned by Xiaonanshan Shop annually within the seven great Immortal Cities of Eastern Earth. The Immortal Cities of Eastern Earth held various auctions annually, initially designed to stimulate the consumption of spirit stones by Eastern Earth cultivators. These events were primarily organized by the Holy Land and the major Nascent Soul factions. These auctions typically targeted cultivators at the Core Formation and Foundation Establishment stages, thus predominantly featuring Third-Tier spiritual items, with Fourth-Tier spirit herbs and materials occasionally appearing as main attractions. However, in recent years, these items have predominantly been acquired by the exceptionally wealthy Five Elements Sect. Consequently, while the major powers in Eastern Earth coveted the Five Elements Sect's significant spirit stone earnings, they did not lose their composure. After all, they were now collecting even more spirit stones. As long as the items were satisfactory, the Five Elements Sect would acquire virtually everything. This strategy allowed them to clear their inventory while also accumulating a significant amount of spirit stones.
Nevertheless, some astute individuals in Eastern Earth realized that once the spirit stones they earned were distributed, their disciples' primary choice for spending was the Five Elements Sect's chambers of commerce and shops. While spirit stones circulated continuously within Eastern Earth, the precious spiritual materials they had accumulated over millennia flowed ceaselessly into the Eastern Barrens. It was precisely for this reason that Zhou Ye faced immense pressure. This was because all high-tier spiritual materials acquired from Eastern Earth were transported to Beiyuan City in the Eastern Barrens via large-scale teleportation arrays in Dongyi. If rogue cultivators intended to strike, their sole opportunity would be at Bright Mirror Immortal City.
In recent years, Bright Mirror Immortal City had indeed experienced several incidents of rogue cultivators causing unrest. Fortunately, the Heavenly Dipper Array previously designed by Chen Mobai in Dongyi proved remarkably powerful, enabling Zhou Ye to withstand repeated attacks from rogue cultivators. On two occasions, even Nascent Soul cultivators personally intervened, compelling Zhou Shengqing and Mo Douguang to assist in Dongyi to hold the line and repel the attacking rogue cultivators outside the city. In recent years, however, such incidents have ceased. This is because with the complete development of the Desolate Ruins, its six cities, along with Bright Mirror Immortal City, now form the Fifth-Tier Seven Stars Heavenly Dipper Array, which Chen Mobai constructed. An array of this caliber could even hold its own against a God Transformation cultivator. After a rogue cultivator at the Nascent Soul stage perished within the formation, all rogue cultivators outside Bright Mirror Immortal City vanished without a trace.
Many of the high-tier spiritual materials sourced from Eastern Earth were medicinal herbs. Benefiting from this, Qing Nü could modify and restore many valuable pill formulas from the Immortal Sect, including those for the Three Nascent Soul Spiritual Herbs. "Well done," Chen Mobai nodded, praising Liu Wenbai after his report.
Finally, it was Luo Yixuan's turn. Having formed her Core early, time seemed to have left no trace on her; her skin remained fair and smooth, and her face was as beautiful as a flower. As Chen Mobai's gaze turned to her, she respectfully stepped forward, bowing slightly. "Master," she began, "over the past decade or so, the fissures in the secret realm of Panghuang Mountain have appeared with increasing frequency. I attempted to send your puppets inside; most lost control, but a select few managed to penetrate deep into the secret realm, discovering the presence of Fifth-Tier level power there."
Among the four disciples, Luo Yixuan had formed her Core the earliest, even a year before Qing Nü. Yet now, Qing Nü had already achieved the Nascent Soul stage, while Luo Yixuan remained at the peak of the mid-Core Formation stage. This was a clear demonstration of the disparity in talent. The advantages of a Heavenly Spirit Root over an ordinary Spirit Root in cultivation became increasingly pronounced as one advanced. However, Luo Yixuan's slower progress was attributable not only to her spiritual root but also to her cultivation of two distinct types of spiritual power.
"Indeed, you've worked hard these past few years," Chen Mobai remarked. "Both you and Zongheng are just a step away from the late Core Formation stage. If you find the bottleneck particularly stubborn, you can take Purple Jade Porridge to assist in breaking through." Chen Mobai, as a proponent of cultivation stages, couldn't help but offer guidance upon seeing his two disciples stuck before the late Core Formation bottleneck. "Yes, Master," they both naturally replied, nodding. After all, reaching the late Core Formation stage allowed one to anticipate the Nascent Soul. Qing Nü's and Yin Qingmei's successes instilled them with great confidence in the sect's resources for Nascent Soul formation. Consequently, the Core Formation cultivators of the Five Elements Sect were now relentlessly striving to advance, eager to secure their share of Nascent Soul formation resources after Fu Zongjue and Sheng Zhaoxi.
"I'll refine a batch of barrier-breaking pills later," Qing Nü said with a smile. "Besides your three disciples, other Core Formation cultivators in the sect can also benefit from them." "Many thanks, Mistress," Jiang Zongheng and Liu Wenbai said simultaneously, even before Chen Mobai could speak. Although Liu Wenbai had only recently broken through to the mid-Core Formation stage ten years prior, since Qing Nü had included him, he certainly wouldn't refuse. Luo Yixuan opened her mouth, then quietly bowed her head in thanks. Although she had long been aware that the difference in spiritual roots would increasingly hinder her ability to keep pace with those possessing Heavenly Spirit Roots in future cultivation, the stark reality of such a significant cultivation gap before her eyes still filled Luo Yixuan with an indescribable sense of frustration. What was even more difficult for her to accept was that Yin Qingmei had also formed her Nascent Soul. It was worth noting that just sixty years prior, the difference in their cultivation stages had been negligible.
"Xuan'er, your cultivation of the 'Profound Ocean Control Art' is well-suited to the Yellow Dragon Cave Mansion. You can stay here and utilize the Fifth-Tier spiritual energy to aid your breakthrough," Chen Mobai's gentle voice entered her ears. Luo Yixuan had initially wanted to stubbornly shake her head, but upon meeting his concerned gaze, all her emotions instantly dissipated. She meekly nodded, "Many thanks, Master. I just don't know if I'll be bothering Mistress."
"My abode is quite spacious; you can certainly stay and cultivate here without issue," Qing Nü said with a smile. "Ming'er has her own private cave dwelling, and I'll arrange one for you as well."
"Yes, Mistress!" Luo Yixuan responded.
The reunion of master and disciples, after a considerable time, was met with Chen Mobai's jovial spirits. He had Zhuo Ming open a jar of century-old spirit wine, while Liu Wenbai and the others, familiar with the process, gathered spirit fruits and went to Yunmeng Lake to catch various spirit fish for a feast. Compared to their previous gatherings at Xiaonanshan, this occasion included Qing Nü. She found the experience quite novel and even personally cooked, garnering widespread praise.
After a period of stay at the Yellow Dragon Cave Mansion, Chen Mobai was preparing to return to the Immortal Sect when Sheng Zhaoxi sought him out. Following her retirement, Chen Mobai had rehired her to the Five Elements Sect's newly established armory. This armory's research was dedicated to studying the blueprints for war artifacts that Chen Mobai had acquired from the Immortal Sect. Given Sheng Zhaoxi's cultivation of the 'Taiyi True Fire Art,' she had only been provided with the blueprints for the Vermilion Bird Dao Palace. Aside from her, Chen Mobai had assigned all of the Five Elements Sect's most skilled artifact refiners to this facility. Nevertheless, progress remained exceptionally challenging. Despite the difficulties, some progress had been made over the years. At the very least, the general framework of the Dao Palace had been constructed. However, the subsequent tasks—connecting various components, setting up formations, and constructing the core power furnace—all awaited Chen Mobai's direct guidance and hands-on involvement. Such intricacies remained far too advanced for the artifact refiners of the Five Elements Sect. Even with Chen Mobai periodically lecturing at the armory and explaining the blueprints' various details, the impact remained minimal. Despite this, Chen Mobai continued to urge Sheng Zhaoxi to persevere. When the construction of the Vermilion Bird Dao Palace reached an impasse, Chen Mobai tasked her with tackling the accompanying projects, such as the Starry Sky Warships and the Southern Heavenly Gates. Among these, the research on the Southern Heavenly Gates progressed relatively smoothly. However, the Starry Sky Warships, much like the Vermilion Bird Dao Palace, encountered numerous bottlenecks, proving almost impossible to begin.
Sheng Zhaoxi, however, had proposed an idea: to adapt the technology used in constructing treasure ships for the creation of Starry Sky Warships. After the various prominent families of Dongwu submitted, Chen Mobai opened the Beiyuan City library to them, also requesting that they contribute their ancestral knowledge to enrich the collection. The most valuable contribution among these was their treasure ship construction technology. This technology had originally been acquired from the Holy Land. However, after thousands of years of continuous effort, they had perfected blueprints for First to Third-Tier treasure ships, and the Sun family had even conducted extensive research into Fourth-Tier designs. Sheng Zhaoxi's idea was to use the Fourth-Tier treasure ship blueprints as a foundation, integrate all possible Starry Sky Warship functionalities, and then find a way to make it compatible with the Vermilion Bird Dao Palace. Chen Mobai agreed to this approach, allowing her to proceed with the attempt. Her visit today was ostensibly to report on this matter.
"Junior Martial Brother Sect Master," Sheng Zhaoxi began with a proud expression, "I have led the elite of the sect's Artifact Refining Department to construct the Fourth-Tier treasure ship."
"Oh, what splendid news! Come, let us go to the armory at once to see it," Chen Mobai exclaimed, immediately rising to head to Yan County with Sheng Zhaoxi.
"Well, there's still a minor issue," Sheng Zhaoxi said, not rising and appearing somewhat embarrassed.
"What's the problem?" Chen Mobai asked, sensing something amiss, as he sat back down.
"The treasure ship's furnace cannot be powered," Sheng Zhaoxi confessed, lowering her head somewhat awkwardly.
"How can that be?" Chen Mobai asked, frowning as he sat down.
"It's mainly my fault," Sheng Zhaoxi admitted. "In an effort to incorporate all the functionalities of a Starry Sky Warship, I made the treasure ship bear an excessive amount of weight. This has rendered the original power furnace, which was capable of driving a Fourth-Tier treasure ship, somewhat underpowered." After Chen Mobai had given several lectures to the Five Elements Sect's artifact refiners, Sheng Zhaoxi and other Eastern Barrens refiners had also learned some professional terminology from the Immortal Sect, such as "power furnace" and "power."
"Then how is this any different from a failure?" Chen Mobai retorted.
Sheng Zhaoxi was left awkwardly speechless.
