How much?
The preliminary estimated price is 10 Dao Gong. The exact value can only be determined after you send the item to us for assessment by our appraisers.
Who pays for shipping?
The customer pays upfront. If the magical artifact is unsuitable, it will be returned to you, and the shipping fee will not be reimbursed. If our shop accepts the artifact, the shipping cost will be split evenly.
Chen Mobai spoke with various shop customer service representatives that deal in magical artifacts within the World Gate. The prices he received varied widely, with demonic artifacts, especially those with no clear origin, generally starting at half price.
The other procedures were similar.
Online estimates were only preliminary; actual sales required mailing the item for an in-person appraisal.
After all, peak sixth-tier magical artifacts are not cheap, and their value cannot be definitively assessed solely based on videos and photos.
Chen Mobai currently wanted to sell the Hell Disk. This item had long been refined by the Black Fly Demon God and still contained the Demon God's will, making it somewhat troublesome to possess.
However, the shipping fees were prohibitively expensive, making him hesitant.
He decided to look for shops in the Xuangu Dao Field, planning to ask Spirit Venerable to make the journey. With a Void Refinement cultivator handling the transaction, he expected a fairer deal.
Besides demonic treasures, Chen Mobai also inquired about the Kui Beast corpse.
Since it wasn't alive, few were interested. The Kui Beast's true spirit bloodline wasn't particularly high-grade, and the one Chen Mobai possessed had gone out of control during the Heart Demon Tribulation, exhausting its essence and dying, making it equivalent to the lowest tier among sixth-tier creatures.
Chen Mobai approached several beef shops, but all refused, fearing it might be diseased meat. He eventually consulted with Qi Yuheng, a professional, who suggested an alternative: selling it to pet food stores.
Regulations in that area were lax, and those profiting were often unscrupulous and unafraid of trouble.
After contacting several, more than half indeed sent private contact information to discuss further. He ultimately sold it to a store closest to Fusang Star that offered door-to-door delivery.
The selling price was half a Dao Gong; just being able to sell it was considered a success.
Besides the Kui Beast meat, its toughest horn was acquired by an artifact refining shop for half a Dao Gong. This was considered the essence of the Kui Beast. Chen Mobai had initially thought of keeping it for future artifact refining if he couldn't sell it.
He chose local shops within the Xuangu Dao Field for these sales, as having Spirit Venerable deliver them would save on shipping costs.
The remaining Kui Beast hide, however, was deemed not worth Dao Gong by the artifact refining shop, which only offered Xuangu Coins for it.
After some thought, Chen Mobai decided to keep it.
It could be used to upgrade his Pure Yang Dharma Robe or to forge another sixth-tier magical robe.
Of course, he also extracted the Kui Beast's essence blood.
After all, the Kui Beast meat needed to be bled before being processed into pet food, and Chen Mobai handled that for the shop.
Once Qing Nu had used up the essence blood of the old flood dragon and the Li Li beast, he could try using the Kui Beast's essence blood to refine the Longevity Grand Dao Elixir.
Although the Kui Beast had exhausted its essence before dying, the remaining true spirit blood would still be sufficient for refining five or six batches of fifth-tier elixirs.
This would also serve as a foundation for the Five Elements Sect to become an eternal sacred land.
As for the Kui Beast's sixth-tier inner core, Chen Mobai directly fed it to the Violet Lightning Sword. After absorbing the essence of its Grand Dao power, the Violet Lightning Sword should be able to advance to the peak of the low-grade sixth-tier. The next step would be to continuously entrust it to the Grand Dao for refinement. With good fortune, it might even ascend to a Dao-Attainment Treasure along with his own Dao integration.
However, this possibility was extremely slim.
After all, Chen Mobai did not cultivate the Grand Dao of Destruction.
Or perhaps, he could give it to Bai Guang in the future?
Chen Mobai thought of his wife, who was out working hard, and realized he hadn't given her many valuable gifts. The Violet Lightning Sword seemed fitting and perfectly matched her attributes.
He just wasn't sure if Bai Guang would want it, as she already possessed the Emotionless Sword.
Next, Chen Mobai investigated Fusang Star's air defenses and found that the grand array there only triggered alarms when someone entered or exited directly using void secret techniques without prior notification.
However, if one simply flew out of the planet from an uninhabited area, no one would intervene.
However, the outermost layer of Fusang Star's celestial membrane was encircled by a ring of "Meridian Cold and Heat Gang Wind," blown from the deepest parts of the Xuangu Dao Field. This wind contained both hot and cold energies, and ordinary cultivators at the Nascent Soul stage, if entangled, would have their primordial spirits dissolve and their bodies decay.
Only channels opened by a few Void Refinement cultivators allowed safe passage through this Meridian Cold and Heat Gang Wind.
Of course, there were also some smuggling routes.
However, since Spirit Venerable was already a Void Refinement cultivator and had also stepped into the Grand Dao of Wind, an attempt revealed that entering and exiting the Meridian Cold and Heat Gang Wind was as easy as returning home.
Chen Mobai explained his situation to Spirit Venerable, who, without any hesitation, quietly flew out of Fusang Star with the processed Kui Beast corpse.
A month later, 1 Dao Gong was credited to Chen Mobai's account.
Watching his balance jump from 3 to 4, Chen Mobai deeply sighed, realizing how difficult it was to earn Dao Gong.
He still had three Dao Gong talismans given by Spirit Venerable, bringing him within 2 Dao Gong of purchasing the Xuangu Elixir.
Regarding the demonic treasure business, he inquired at many shops within the Xuangu Dao Field, but all required proper procedures to accept them. Furthermore, any transaction involving a sixth-tier magical artifact in the Xuangu Dao Field needed to be registered for tax purposes.
Naturally, there were also untaxed black markets, such as the Demonic Market platform.
This platform bypassed official channels, directly connecting buyers and sellers, with prices entirely dependent on negotiation.
As there was no official platform guarantee, the demonic treasure's price would be further discounted, likely selling for only about 5 Dao Gong.
While Chen Mobai would be content with 5 Dao Gong, as the Hell Disk was essentially a free acquisition and selling it would remove the trouble of the Black Fly Demon God's tracking, he certainly hoped for more Dao Gong if possible.
Moreover, Song Qingyi's Xuangu Elixir was still in the reservation phase, and Chen Mobai himself hadn't reached the peak of the Nascent Soul stage, so he wasn't in a hurry for now.
Another point was that Chen Mobai wasn't sure if discarding the Hell Disk here would impact the major undertaking of reorganizing the Six Paths of Reincarnation in the Heavenly River Realm.
After all, the Five Elements Sect and the Nine Heavens Demon-Slaying Sect were allies, and Chen Mobai didn't want the Nine Heavens Demon-Slaying Ancestor to fail.
So, he first posted an inquiry to gauge the price:
"An 80% new, peak sixth-tier magical artifact, obtained after purifying a demon-infested planet. It contains thoughts seemingly from a seventh-tier true demon, is a half-Dao-Attainment Treasure, and possesses some innate Dao charm of life and death..."
Chen Mobai had also considered listing the Heaven's Calamity Frost Disaster Blade, but after some thought, he decided to keep it for now. Luo Yixuan might be able to use it in the future, and he could also practice methods for erasing the demonic essence of a magic treasure with it.
He would only consider selling it if he was truly short on Dao Gong in the future.
After the post was made, many people inquired about the price, but they were all very stingy, generally only willing to offer around 5 Dao Gong.
Moreover, these offers all required him to cover shipping or deliver it personally. Chen Mobai certainly could not accept these terms.
After all, if the destination was too far, the Dao Gong earned might not even cover the shipping cost. There were closer inquiries, for example, many cultivators who messaged him were in Xuangong, adjacent to the Xuangu Dao Field. Some even offered to add one or two Dao Gong for transportation if he delivered it personally.
However, due to the unique environment of annihilation in Xuangong, numerous demonic cultivators were hidden there. It was easy to infer that whoever bought a demonic treasure would most likely be a demonic cultivator.
Even if Spirit Venerable, who mastered the Grand Dao of Wind and excelled in escape techniques, went there, it was likely a one-way trip.
Chen Mobai simply brushed off these inquiries and didn't reply.
"Senior, how is that Giant Kun avatar doing?"
That day, when Spirit Venerable returned to Fusang Star, Chen Mobai brought her into his Dharma Domain and asked about the avatar.
"It's been slightly recuperated and is barely capable of being refined into an avatar for use."
Spirit Venerable shook her head and waved her hand towards the sea. Soon, a colossal Kun, as large as a landmass, surfaced. However, unlike when it was controlled by the Central Demonic Dao Master, its current aura was profound, completely integrated with the vast ocean.
This indicated that its Grand Dao of Water had reached its pinnacle, just one step away from entering the sixth-tier Void Refinement stage.
But because this Giant Kun had been prematurely matured by the Central Demonic Dao Master, its fifth-tier peak was its limit. Attempting Void Refinement would cause its bloodline to collapse and its body to explode.
"What a pity."
Chen Mobai was also deeply regretful upon hearing this. He had originally thought that the Central Demonic Dao Master's heart demon avatar could, like the Kui Beast, enter the sixth-tier at any time.
After all, they had all come to surround and kill him; if they weren't sixth-tier, he could suppress them with one hand and defeat them one by one with a single sword stroke.
"Let's make do with it for now. Perhaps after a few hundred years of nourishing and moistening by the Grand Dao of Water, its foundation and bloodline will be restored, allowing it to enter the sixth-tier."
As Spirit Venerable spoke, Chen Mobai noticed two ethereal black and white fish swimming around the Giant Kun in the seawater. They looked familiar, and after a brief recollection, he remembered them.
When the Purple Cloud Palace descended upon Cangliu Star, these two fish happened to fall into the water onto the steps representing the Grand Daos of Yin and Yang. They not only underwent a complete metamorphosis but also achieved spiritual awakening.
"These two fish are only third-tier, yet they possess the power of the Grand Dao. I plan to take them as disciples once they transform into human form."
Spirit Venerable followed Chen Mobai's gaze, smiled faintly, and said.
"Excellent, excellent. This is truly a great fortune for them."
Chen Mobai clapped his hands and laughed upon hearing this. These two spirit fish were born with a connection to the Dao. If they developed smoothly, reaching the Nascent Soul stage would certainly be no problem, and there was even a slim possibility of achieving Void Refinement.
However, because they achieved the Dao of Yin and Yang, the key to that slim possibility lay in the hands of an entity who controlled the Grand Dao of Yin and Yang.
Next, Chen Mobai consulted Spirit Venerable on various topics concerning Dharma Domains and Void Refinement.
"Your foundation is solid. As long as you cultivate steadily, taking the step into Void Refinement in the future will definitely not be an issue. The key lies in the choice of Grand Dao..."
Spirit Venerable was very optimistic about Chen Mobai, an outstanding junior from the Immortal Sect. She not only diligently imparted her knowledge but also helped him analyze the path to Void Refinement.
"I have chosen the Grand Dao of Saintly Virtue!"
Chen Mobai did not conceal it and directly informed her.
As for the other, the Grand Dao of Doomsday Luck, it was still far from being realized. Moreover, all beings in the Purple Heavens Universe knew it was the Demon Lord's Dao, so he didn't mention it.
"As far as I know, this Grand Dao hasn't been occupied yet. However, I've been on Diyuan Star for several millennia, so I'm not sure if any new True Immortal Dao Lords have integrated with the Dao in the Central Dao Field or the Four Palaces. Before you reach Void Refinement, remember to inquire thoroughly."
Chen Mobai listened to Spirit Venerable's earnest advice and nodded repeatedly.
That day.
Chen Mobai's old acquaintances, Cheng Xuan, Qi Yuheng, and Tao Hua, who hadn't met for a long time, gathered at his suburban villa after receiving his message.
The first to arrive was Qi Yuheng.
As soon as he entered, he saw the blonde woman sitting next to Chen Mobai. His expression immediately showed surprise. After repeatedly confirming her identity, and at Chen Mobai's nod, he rushed forward to perform a grand bow, exclaiming, "Greetings, Spirit Venerable! I never imagined I would see you again!"
For those of the Kunpeng lineage, Spirit Venerable was akin to an ancestral master.
Meeting an old acquaintance, especially an elder, in a foreign land filled Qi Yuheng with immense joy.
"Rise," Spirit Venerable said with a smile, helping Qi Yuheng up and gesturing for him to sit down. "My escape from tribulation was largely thanks to Pure Yang's intervention."
At that moment, Cheng Xuan also arrived.
Tao Hua was the last, as her shop business had been quite busy recently.
As she entered, she was still wondering why Chen Mobai had summoned them. After all, he preferred seclusion and rarely emerged unless for significant matters, let alone calling for a meeting.
Stepping into the hall, Tao Hua saw Spirit Venerable surrounded by the others, and her mouth dropped open in disbelief.
"Everyone is here. It's time to share this joy together..."
Chen Mobai smiled and waved at True Monarch Tao Hua, who was standing frozen in astonishment at the doorway after seeing Spirit Venerable. He then began recounting his process of finding Spirit Venerable.
He omitted certain sensitive details, but the key point was that Spirit Venerable had reached Void Refinement.
Any being from the Immortal Sect would rejoice at this news.
"This is truly a delightful surprise!"
True Monarch Tao Hua was so moved she was almost in tears. She took out some peach blossom wine she had brewed herself and personally poured a cup for Spirit Venerable.
"This is wonderful! It just so happens that I recently met a very influential top supporter during a livestream, and he told me some things about the Xuangu Dao Field. As a Void Refinement cultivator, Spirit Venerable can represent Diyuan Star and approach the Void Refinement cultivators of the Xuanyang star system to prove her local identity. Once the four stars' review is passed, the beings of Diyuan Star can directly obtain official household registration in the Xuangu Dao Field..."
Seeing everyone had arrived, Cheng Xuan also shared the results of his efforts over the years.
His "Hand-Made Immortal" account now had over a million followers. After he disclosed his difficulties in the fan group, someone immediately messaged him privately, offering various solutions.
Upon seeing Spirit Venerable, he immediately thought of this possibility.
