Chapter 1943: Transforming Decay into Miracle

Xu Yang suddenly swept his hand, sending the swirling waves of water vapor around him soaring into the void. Adorned by the vibrant starry night sky, the sight was like a celestial river cascading down from the heavens.

While the scene was remarkably spectacular, this momentary display of grandeur would become a lifelong nightmare for all the soldiers in the encampment that night.

Each droplet, vibrated by Xu Yang's powerful mental energy in the void, swiftly transformed into boundless waves of water vapor, surging in every direction towards the surrounding military camps.

This ability to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary completely stunned the little mushroom perched on Xu Yang's shoulder.

This was because, in the world of ancient martial arts and divine paths, an immutable principle governed all ancient martial practices: the eternal form of power.

Simply put, martial artists held a consistent understanding of power, believing that power could never appear out of thin air. Yet, Xu Yang's actions had just shattered this very rule.

Xu Yang possessed this ability because his strength had long surpassed the critical limits of the various civilizational orders on the main continent. Regardless of the region, Xu Yang's power would never be diminished.

On one hand, his power was simply too immense, a culmination of techniques from countless masters. No matter which divine path region he entered, Xu Yang could swiftly adapt and integrate with the local cultivation system, allowing him to exert his full strength to its absolute limit.

On the other hand, it was also due to Xu Yang's possession of the Reincarnation Mirror, a supreme artifact of the Angel lineage. This mirror allowed him to alter all heavenly laws and any order within a given region at will, a power practically synonymous with that of a Creator or a God-Ruler.

If Xu Yang were truly a mercenary individual, completely disregarding the lives of billions across the main continent, he could freely mold it into any form he desired. All rules and order on the continent could be altered solely by his will.

Yet, he chose not to. From his very core, Xu Yang respected all life in the world; whether weak or strong, every life form nurtured on the main continent possessed the inherent right to seek survival.

It was precisely due to these ethics and principles that Xu Yang was able to develop to his current formidable level, and the Reincarnation Mirror willingly chose to follow him. Meanwhile, ever-increasing waves of water vapor began to wash over every corner of the encampment.

A satisfied smile appeared on Xu Yang's face as he once again summoned the Hanquan Prime Artifact. He gently wiped both sides of its blade with his hands, then held the sword suspended before him, as an incredibly brilliant, ice-blue aura surged around his body.

That chilling aura seemed capable of freezing the entire world. Even the little mushroom, perched on Xu Yang's shoulder, trembled uncontrollably upon sensing the release of this icy gleam that threatened to freeze everything.

Had Xu Yang's aura not consciously avoided the little mushroom, the small creature would likely have been instantly frozen by his ferocious power right there on his shoulder.

After concentrating a sufficiently powerful frost energy, Xu Yang plunged the Hanquan Prime Artifact into the ground without hesitation. In a mere instant, an extraordinarily brilliant ice-blue halo, centered on Xu Yang, rapidly expanded outwards in a circular sweep.

It was unclear how far this energy wave extended, but every area within the entire military camp that had been touched by the water vapor waves was now covered in a thick layer of solid ice. All soldiers whose body parts were encased by this ice instantly lost their ability to move.

It's worth noting that Xu Yang was still actively restraining the outward release of his power. Had he unleashed his most potent freezing effect without reservation, every soldier in the encampment would have undoubtedly met their demise.

To put it simply, this icy aura was intended to restrain their mobility and suppress their ability to retaliate. However, if the cold aura were to solidify to a certain degree, it could directly congeal the bodily meridians of those caught in its grip.

Their blood and vital essence would become entirely sealed, and before long, their life force would inevitably dwindle and expire.

"How can this be? Where did this frost power come from? It's terrifying, my legs are completely immobilized!" the soldiers cried out in panic.

The soldiers began to shout frantically, but no matter how they struggled, their legs, covered up to the knees by the ice, could not be moved even an inch.

Only by ruthlessly and decisively severing their own legs could they hope to break free from the restrictive power of the frost. Consequently, the vast majority of soldiers chose to remain frozen in place.

It's worth mentioning that the silver-robed disciples, who had been hiding in the shadows and attacking Xu Yang and the little mushroom with formation power, now wore completely different expressions.

"Damn it! I never imagined Xu Yang could devise such a method to curb our formation's power output. Boss, what do we do now?"

Within the concealed tent, dozens of silver-robed disciples had completely lost their mobility. However, given their significant strength, they had already begun to mobilize their internal cultivation power to try and melt the ice encasing their lower bodies. Yet, their previously effective formation techniques were clearly sealed off, making further activation impossible.

Nevertheless, within moments, the leading silver-robed disciple gasped, then erupted with immense power, breaking free from the power lock on his feet.

"What else can we do? When soldiers come, we block them; when water comes, we build dikes. Regardless, we absolutely cannot allow this Xu Yang fellow to seize the Emperor right under our noses. Otherwise, all our plans within the military camp will end in utter failure."

The silver-robed disciples were now certain that all their arrangements in the imperial capital had become meaningless. They had no allies left to mobilize and could only rely on their own strength to buy as much time as possible.

However, before these individuals could devise a better way to impede Xu Yang's progress, an incredibly powerful force erupted just outside the tent door, suddenly appearing and instantly blasting the entire encampment into smithereens.

The powerful disciples hiding inside the tent were utterly dumbfounded. For clearly before them stood Xu Yang, with the little mushroom perched on his shoulder.

"Gentlemen, I trust you've been well!"

A faint smile was visible on Xu Yang's face, yet the icy killing intent radiating from him at that moment had intensified to its absolute peak, causing the formidable disciples before him to tremble in fear.
