Chapter 1084: Vengeful Array

## Chapter 1094: The Ya Zi Vengeance Array

Transmitter Zhou was delighted to see Li Fan agree so quickly. "Good," she said, "we'll meet here." With that, she sent over the coordinates.

After ending the communication, Li Fan began his preparations.

The "latest developed technique" he had mentioned earlier was not baseless fabrication. Rather, it was the result of the Disintegration Disc's deductions over the past year.

Since mastering the Celestial Wheel and All Souls' Return to Unity arrays, as well as the Desolate Fall and Void Bloom arrays—two Immortal-tier grand arrays—and subsequently absorbing the nine newly-born sub-discs to complete its transformation, the Disintegration Disc's array analysis capabilities had been increasing at an unimaginable rate.

It seemed to deduce an endless stream of new arrays every moment.

The Disintegration Disc was like the Law-Derivation Jade, intent on deducing every array in existence!

Even without Li Fan's deliberate manipulation as its master, it had accumulated an enormous database of arrays over the past year.

By adding a few conditions and performing a quick search, Li Fan found what he needed.

It was an imitation Immortal-tier array, named Ya Zi, symbolizing "vengeance for every grievance."

The array's function could be glimpsed from its name.

As long as the array remained active, it could automatically scan for and mark those with whom the user harbored enmity in its vicinity, then track them.

Its coverage approximated the size of one province within the Myriad Immortals Alliance. Once targeted by the Ya Zi Array, one would be perpetually tracked as long as they remained within its range.

The array had a unique characteristic: each array could only designate one target of enmity.

Li Fan experimented with it and found that the Ya Zi Array's targeting method completely surpassed his current understanding. It was subtly approaching the Immortal level.

However, Mo Rubing's performance last time had genuinely instilled fear.

Therefore, an array alone wouldn't be enough!

Li Fan took out a small jade bottle.

Inside the bottle were three pills.

They moved rapidly and erratically within the bottle, their chaotic trajectories revealing something mysterious.

"Soul-Severing Pills."

"After consumption, to outsiders, one's soul will appear adrift and extremely chaotic. Yet, one will still retain control over their body. It's remarkably effective against soul possession. Mo Rubing's soul possession technique, like Transmitter Jiang's, aims to transform me into their likeness."

"But how can one possess or influence a chaotic mass?"

A cold glint flashed in Li Fan's eyes: "Even if it can't completely stop him, it can at least greatly delay his possession process."

"Three pills constitute one set. The Medicine King Sect produced over two hundred sets in their first batch..."

With everything prepared, Li Fan took Tian Yang and headed to the agreed meeting point.

Naturally, he had altered his original appearance.

Transmitter Zhou was already waiting, accompanied by thirty-seven other individuals.

They were roughly divided into three factions. The largest group consisted of black-clad cultivators with expressionless faces and grim demeanors.

Compared to those Li Fan had seen previously, even their eyes were utterly vacant.

Rather than cultivators, they seemed more like puppets devoid of their own thoughts, merely executing commands.

Of the remaining two factions, one comprised two other Transmitters standing with Transmitter Zhou. The second was somewhat unique.

They were not human; their bodies were small, only as tall as a seven or eight-year-old child.

They had no heads; their facial features were crowded onto their chests.

Their entire bodies were pitch black, giving them a grotesque yet somewhat comical appearance.

"Entering this perilous realm this time, we'll need the Spectral Clan members as guides," Transmitter Zhou said to Li Fan, after glancing at Tian Yang, who stood silently with closed eyes behind Li Fan and giving a slight bow.

"Spectrals?" Li Fan regarded the strange group with interest.

"Let's talk as we go. These are the precautions for entering."

At Transmitter Zhou's signal, the Spectral Clan members gathered, holding hands, and began to perform a strange dance.

Like a ritual, as they hummed in unison, a faint, obscure, and stifling aura quietly descended above them.

Of course, this was merely Li Fan's perception.

In reality, whether observed with the naked eye or spiritual sense, there was no actual change ahead.

"Let's go in first."

However, the subsequent actions of the group proved Li Fan's premonition correct.

When the Myriad Immortals Alliance cultivators flew towards the space above the Spectral Clan members, they seemed to be suddenly swallowed by the gloom.

They simply vanished into thin air.

The Alliance cultivators entered one after another, and Li Fan eventually followed, flying into it as well.

Light was stripped away from the world.

All around was utterly boundless gloom.

It was slightly different from the Abyssal Star Sea outside the Xuanhuang Realm.

Though both were darkness, the Star Sea's darkness felt like deathly silence, void, and vastness.

Here, however...

It was narrow, damp, and dim, as if something lurked in the darkness, ready to spring out and devour people at any moment.

The Myriad Immortals Alliance cultivators who had entered before seemed to have vanished collectively.

In the gloomy peril, it felt as though only he remained.

Li Fan instinctively tried to observe his surroundings with his spiritual sense, but found it useless here.

Once it left his body, it seemed to be enveloped by the boundless gloom, unable to perceive anything else.

Li Fan then tried to illuminate his surroundings with light, but again failed.

Light, it seemed, could not survive in this perilous realm either.

Just then, without warning, a hand suddenly rested on Li Fan's shoulder.

His hairs stood on end, and Li Fan was about to counterattack instantly.

However, through physical contact, spiritual sense could be mutually transmitted.

Only then did Li Fan "hear" the other person's words.

The person first introduced himself as Transmitter Yan.

He then explained to Li Fan: "In this gloomy perilous realm, both spiritual sense and sound are rendered ineffective. Only by physical contact, like the Spectral Clan members, can we communicate with each other."

"We entered together and did not scatter. Everyone should be around here; let's gather first."

Li Fan nodded slightly.

This gloomy perilous realm was indeed quite bizarre. Even his connection with Tian Yang had been severed.

Fortunately, Tian Yang hadn't wandered far, and he was quickly found again with little effort.

With a thought from Li Fan, and unnoticed by anyone, Tian Yang quietly transformed into the Immortal Puppet Armor and attached himself to Li Fan's body.

"The Ya Zi Array is also greatly weakened here. Its sensory coverage is only about three zhang around me?"

Li Fan couldn't help but be secretly alarmed.

One must remember, this was an existence infinitely close to a true Immortal-tier array.

"I didn't expect such a perilous place to exist within the Xuanhuang Realm. What is Mo Rubing doing here?"

Just like the Spectral Clan members who held hands before entering, the Myriad Immortals Alliance cultivators and Li Fan also managed to regroup using this method.

After a headcount revealed three people missing, the group did not try to search for them. Instead, they immediately issued a kill order for them.

At the same time, they all advanced deeper into the gloom.
