"Agree to his request, but ask him for a high-grade immortal artifact," Qing Xuan's voice echoed in Wang Changsheng's ear. "He possesses a high-grade immortal artifact with an innate artifact spirit, though the spirit is dormant, and he might not be aware of it."

Qing Hongzi let out a sigh of relief. As a rogue cultivator, it wasn't easy for him to gather materials for repairing a complete set of top-grade immortal artifacts. This was already a two-piece set; more items would make it even harder. He took out a long saber gleaming with golden light and a cyan shuttle. Both were top-grade immortal artifacts, but neither had been refined with Primordial Spirit Treasures.

"Not these two!" Qing Xuan's voice rang in Wang Changsheng's ear.

Wang Changsheng shook his head. Qing Hongzi frowned and then successively took out five more top-grade immortal artifacts.

"Fellow Daoist Li, do you think I can't refine top-grade immortal artifacts?" Wang Changsheng said, frowning. "Only immortal artifacts with special functions or rare materials would be more appropriate."

Qing Hongzi pondered for a moment, then took out a golden crystal the size of a pigeon's egg. It had spiral patterns on its surface and emanated a golden light.

"A Sundial Divine Crystal!" Long Xiang exclaimed in surprise.

This was a core material for setting up the Time Array, one of the Ten Great Immortal Arrays. Wang Changsheng was somewhat surprised; he hadn't expected Qing Hongzi to possess such a rare material.

"With this Sundial Divine Crystal, it should be enough, shouldn't it, Fellow Daoist Wang?" Qing Hongzi said, stating that this was the most precious item he owned.

"It's enough." Wang Changsheng nodded. If he had continued to refuse, Qing Hongzi would certainly have grown suspicious.

Qing Hongzi didn't produce the high-grade immortal artifact with an artifact spirit. There were two possibilities: either he was completely unaware it had an artifact spirit and thought it was worthless, or he knew it did but was unwilling to part with it. If it was the former, that would be fine, but if it was the latter, Qing Hongzi wouldn't have brought it out even if Wang Changsheng had kept refusing. Obtaining a Sundial Divine Crystal was also good; the Time Array could prove immensely useful later when dealing with the ten-colored chaotic beasts.

"Then I'll trouble you, Fellow Daoist Wang." Qing Hongzi's face showed delight, and he thanked him repeatedly.

Long Xiang nodded and agreed, as he had already been considering it.

The five of them began chatting idly, their conversation turning to dealing with the ten-colored chaotic beasts.

"To kill a ten-colored chaotic beast, we need to finish the fight quickly. If we prolong it, its companions will come to its aid," Long Xiang said with a tone of regret. "Last time, I managed to severely injure one, but it still got away."

"Eliminating a ten-colored chaotic beast in a short time is extraordinarily difficult," Long Bing said. "Perhaps it could be achieved if multiple fellow Daoists who have cultivated top-tier immortal physiques joined forces!"

"Fellow Daoist Wang has a complete set of top-grade immortal artifacts refined with Primordial Spirit Treasures," Qing Hongzi said. "If Fellow Daoist Wang and Fellow Daoist Long were to team up, it should be possible."

This was Xu Yuanyuan, the Vice Lord of the Soul Severing Tower. She seemed to recall something and continued, "Were your feelings for him very deep? Do you insist on avenging him?"

"You're overthinking it," Xu Yuanyuan said dismissively. "Lei Xiao didn't know your true circumstances, so there's nothing to worry about."

"I hope that's the case," Immortal Lord Beihan said. "I hope I'm just overthinking it. Since we can't find anything, then so be it. Even Immortal Lord Jiugong couldn't deduce Lei Xiao's whereabouts, saying they were deliberately obscured."

"Immortal Lord Jiugong's divinatory abilities are formidable," Xu Yuanyuan advised. "Since he said so, there's no need for you to pursue it further. However, if the other party continues to target you, that would be a different matter."

Immortal Lord Beihan nodded and said, "That's what I thought too. Many Great Luo Golden Immortals have come to this celebration. I didn't expect Immortal Lord Taihao to be here as well."
