Chapter 4827: Chaos Sea Shakes Off the Enemy

Somewhere in the Immortal Realm, a vast, boundless azure sea stretched out, a gentle sea breeze was blowing, and the sky was clear and boundless.

A deafening roar resounded, as a huge golden light shot up into the sky. A powerful surge of air spread out, radiating in all directions and creating towering waves.

As the golden light faded, the figures of Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan appeared.

They had several small cuts on their bodies. Wang Changsheng had a finger-sized blood hole in his left shoulder, and Wang Ruyan's dress was stained crimson with blood. Both their faces were pale, and their auras were weak.

They could not defeat the Primordial Chaos Beast and could only flee, as it pursued them relentlessly.

They had escaped to the Sea of Chaos, as described by Mo Yinyin. They had been fleeing for ten thousand years, but still hadn't reached its end.

The sea churned and surged, as He appeared, his expression frigid.

"I'd like to see how far you can run," He said coldly.

Even Dao Ancestors who had opened nine fundamental laws were no match for the Azure Lotus Immortal Couple. Only He could suppress them, and the Azure Lotus Immortal Couple had to be dealt with.

"It won't be that easy to kill us!" Wang Changsheng scoffed, unleashing a punch. A giant azure fist flashed forth, heading straight for He.

He snorted coldly and launched a punch, a giant golden fist meeting the attack.

The golden fist collided with the azure fist, the latter instantly disintegrating. A giant black palm then flew in, colliding with the golden fist, and both were annihilated.

The sky seemed to darken. A massive blue nebula appeared high above, studded with countless stars.

Countless blue lights illuminated the sky. Immediately after, streaks of blue light streaked across the heavens, striking towards He like meteors.

He held a giant black pagoda in his left hand and swung it to meet the incoming attack.

All the falling blue lights were shattered by the giant black pagoda, emitting a deafening roar as powerful waves of energy surged.

The void rippled, and giant spatial rifts appeared. Giant black palms and azure fist shadows flew out from them, striking towards He.

He slammed his right hand towards the void, and a massive golden fist shadow flashed forth, meeting the attack.

A tremendous roar erupted. The golden fist shadow, the incoming black palms, and the azure fist shadows annihilated each other, sending waves of energy surging like a tide.

A gigantic blue water dragon darted forward, reaching He in an instant.

He swung the giant black pagoda to meet it. The giant black pagoda collided with the blue water dragon, producing a loud crash as the water dragon's body disintegrated, turning into countless drops of seawater.

Soon, a second blue water dragon pounced, followed by a third.

Fighting in this sea region, Wang Changsheng held a distinct advantage.

Giant blue water dragons continuously emerged from the seabed, pouncing on He with bared fangs and claws. All of them were blocked by him.

The seawater churned and surged, as a massive blue water curtain appeared, enclosing him within it.

"Again! Do you think you can trap me?" He scoffed, a look of disdain on his face.

He swung the giant black pagoda, smashing it against the blue water curtain. The blue water curtain shattered like a bubble.

Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan stood atop a towering wave. They frowned, just as they were about to employ other techniques, when dense golden fist shadows shot towards them, appearing before them in an instant.

Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan both activated the power of their fundamental laws to resist. A massive roar erupted, and waves of energy surged forth.

A black light flashed, and a towering, entirely black pagoda appeared above their heads without warning. It spewed out a black mist, covering them.

Their bodies visibly shrank, and they were drawn into the Mother Pagoda by the black mist.

He frowned deeply. With a single gesture, the towering pagoda flew back to him.

"Nine-Yang Illusionary Immortal Talisman!"

He's expression turned grim. He transformed into a streak of light and flew into the distance.

A vast, boundless black sea stretched out. Numerous thin threads permeated the void, like countless sharp blades. There were also many whirlpools in the void, with large amounts of seawater surging skyward, straight into the whirlpools.

Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan stood atop an azure lotus platform. The azure lotus platform slowly flew forward, its speed not fast.

"What exactly is this place?" Wang Ruyan said with a frown. "So much time has passed, and we still haven't reached its end."

"The Boundless Sea lives up to its name," Wang Changsheng said. "Its vastness makes it easier for us to shake him off."

"Be careful!" Wang Ruyan warned.

No sooner had she spoken than a thin black light suddenly appeared in the void ahead, flickering in and out of sight.

The nearby void twisted and warped. The azure lotus platform also evaded the black light.

"Natural restriction?" Wang Changsheng said with a frown, raising his right hand. A blue, shimmering flying dagger shot out, heading straight for the black light.

The blue flying dagger was a mid-grade Dao artifact. Upon touching the black light, it was like an egg striking a rock, and was cut into two halves.

Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan gasped, realizing that something that could easily destroy a mid-grade Dao artifact could just as easily kill them.

For the rest of their journey, Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan slowed down. Along the way, they discovered many thin black lights, as well as numerous spatial cracks. This area of space was highly unstable.

They had to be careful, and eventually left this sea region.

In a vast, boundless black sea, He stood atop a towering wave, his expression frigid.

A giant black pagoda floated above his head; it was the Mother Pagoda of the Ten Directions Parent-Child Pagoda.

An hour later, two ten-colored Chaos Beasts flew from a distance, and with a flicker, landed before He.

"Commander He, we didn't find the Azure Lotus Immortal Couple. Perhaps they are not here," one of the ten-colored Chaos Beasts reported.

"What about the others? Why are only two of you back?" He asked.

"The others touched the restrictions and were killed by them," the ten-colored Chaos Beast replied. "Even those who cultivated Chaos Bodies were no exception."

"This is already deep within the Sea of Chaos," He said. "When I first came here, I almost died from the restrictions. Never mind. This place is unlike anywhere else. They won't easily escape from here. Let's go back!"

"Go back? Commander He, are we just letting them go like this?" one of the ten-colored Chaos Beasts asked, puzzled.

"The Sea of Chaos is too vast," He said. "I almost died when I came here myself. If they've stumbled in here, it won't be easy for them to get out. We've been chasing them for ten thousand years and lost them. Continuing to pursue them would just be a waste of time."

The Sea of Chaos was so immense that finding the Azure Lotus Immortal Couple would be too difficult. He could send his subordinates to search for them, but even Chaos Beasts who had opened nine fundamental laws were no match for the Azure Lotus Immortal Couple. Even if they found them, they wouldn't be able to return alive with the news.

"Commander He, what should our next step be then?" one of the ten-colored Chaos Beasts asked.

"Spread the rumor that the Azure Lotus Immortal Couple is dead," He said. "Round up the Immortals, search for Azure Lotus Immortal Island, and flatten the Wang family. The Wang family absolutely cannot be allowed to grow."

"Yes, Commander He," the ten-colored Chaos Beasts agreed.

They left the area, and silence returned.
