Chapter 1344: Killing Through the Seventh Level Heavenly Court

The Martial God Palace cemetery?

Lin Hongfeng glanced over, her mind subtly shifting, a ripple of thought forming.

The cemetery held the remains of ancient beings and successive members of the faction, with the deepest part being the tomb of their original mentor, Messiah.

And now, the depths of the tomb were shaking.

"Is someone secretly raiding our Martial God Palace cemetery?" Hila's expression darkened. The Martial God Palace practitioners focused on physical cultivation, mostly enlightened demonic beasts who cultivated the purest martial and soul arts, making them natural treasures. Grave robbers weren't rare in the distant founding era, but who would dare to raid a tomb now? Within the Seven Worlds Celestial Court, the Celestial Court Dao Field established by Emperor Qi, there were long no enemies. Yet, there were no signs of external intruders.

"Only a Tenth-Order Saint could infiltrate our palace so silently, but why would Emperor Qi and other Saints raid a tomb?"

Soon, they arrived at the scene and saw the towering central tombstone cracking, as if some ancient being was breaking out of the ground.

They exchanged glances, and a thought suddenly flashed through their minds.

Could it be that Lord Messiah... was still alive? Had he revived?

The few members of the Martial God Palace looked at each other, stunned into silence.

Messiah's demise had been too mysterious back then. It was known that he possessed the Blood of Immortality. However, due to prolonged slumber, his body's energy had depleted, causing it to decay. They had tried immersing him in energy fluid for over a thousand years to sustain him, but ultimately, it was only external energy input and could not maintain every bodily function. Eventually, he still perished. After all, the civilization's level at that time was genuinely not high; there weren't even Ninth-Order Dao Achievers, and the methods of deities were limited. The era when Dao Achievers emerged, and Emperor Qi and others broke through, was much later, coinciding with encounters with the Abyssal Blue Divine Realm, the Stone Man Disk, and the Abyssal Blue Celestial Venerable.

"We always thought his demise was very strange," Hila said, immensely excited. "Could it be that he has revived now?" No one would forget Uncle Messiah, who had guided her onto the path of cultivation and helped the Martial God Palace find its rightful way.

"Perhaps so!" Lin Hongfeng's expression also grew excited.

"Messiah is the remnant body of His Highness Hermes, the savior from back then! And who was His Highness Hermes? He was a Saint who, alongside the Primordial Gods, ruled an ancient era. Even after his demise, he secretly maintained our legacy, transferring civilization, and was known as the 'Savior'."

The Savior. His accomplishments were simply too numerous; no amount of extensive historical writing could fully capture them. Even textbooks for students in the Seven Worlds contained lengthy accounts of him.

It was he who, after the end of the Wizard Era, descended into the initial era of elixirs, leading the emperors of that time towards a new world, earning him the title of the First-Generation Elixir Emperor, the Monarch-Emperor of Gardens and Wine. It was also he who opened a new century, teaching people that the Ninth-Order path was one of soul-body unity... It was he in the Immortal World...

"And in this life, with the myriad worlds descending and the universe on the brink of destruction, that man, known as the Savior, perhaps..." Hila suddenly thought of something, too excited to speak.

Everyone had been unwilling to believe his demise back then, holding onto a glimmer of hope for his return, for a miracle.

Everyone fell silent, their gaze turning to the tombstone with a hint of anticipation. Perhaps, this was truly a contingency left by Emperor Messiah, Hermes, to appear in this fated era, for he was, after all, a figure on par with the Primordial Gods.

*Crack.* The tomb opened. A young man with black hair and black eyes stepped out.

The passage of ten thousand years had left no trace on his youthful body; he remained robust and handsome, like a great monarch who had journeyed from an ancient era countless years ago to the present day.

"Hila, is this now the Era of the Myriad Worlds?" Messiah stretched his body, speaking slowly and softly.

Hila's eyes welled up, as if remembering the days in the Demon World's tavern, where he used to tell stories while she served tea. "It is the Myriad Worlds, the Era of the Myriad Worlds!" Hila said nervously. Since he knew about the Myriad Worlds, it meant he had indeed left a contingency, deliberately waiting for this era.

"It's been a long time." Messiah looked at the members of the Martial God Palace: Lin Hongfeng, still the enlightened Red Chicken; Hila; Mu Yuling... As for the lively little rabbit, little ginseng, and those muscular girls from back then, they had long since lived out their lives and passed away. Not everyone had the power to break through to the Ninth Order.

"Yes, it has been a long time," Lin Hongfeng said, her voice hoarse and complex, as she looked at the nearby tombstones. "Sadly, it's hard to foresee meeting them again."

"Everyone dies, including myself." Messiah mused with a sigh, and after a moment of silence, he smiled and said, "Let's sit down and talk. I want to know what has happened over these years. What is the current situation in the Era of the Myriad Worlds?"

Everyone became even more certain that this was a contingency, specifically intended for this Era of the Myriad Worlds.

Soon, they explained the current situation: the immortality of Saints in the Myriad Worlds, and the "Natural Heavenly Dao" and "Human Heavenly Dao" factions.

"I see," Messiah nodded, seemingly amused.

"Don't be fooled that we still reside in our Dao field," Hila boasted. "In reality, our Martial God Palace has expanded into the myriad worlds. Many of our Dao Achievers serve in other Myriad Worlds, and some have even achieved Tenth-Order Sainthood."

"Tenth-Order Sainthood?" Messiah chuckled.

"Naturally! Our main universe's true body is a Ninth-Order incomplete Dao Achiever, but in those small cosmic myriad worlds, achieving Sainthood is much easier, and cultivation time is extremely fast. We've already become Saints directly there."

Lin Hongfeng further explained the current situation of the Martial God Palace: "This is the best era of prosperity! A hundred flowers are blooming. We've gained considerable experience by becoming Saints in the small universes, and it's not impossible for us to achieve Sainthood in the grand universe in the future... After all, even though our Dao foundations were incomplete, the times have changed. We can now mend and complete them... Even mediocre individuals like us, who lacked the innate qualities of a Saint, can now easily aspire to Sainthood! The path to Sainthood has become incredibly simple!" She added, "We even have a chance to prove Sainthood in the Nine-Origin Universe... And she concluded, "If it's so easy for us to become Saints, then some monstrous prodigies are said to have broken records, surpassing us directly. Many young Saints have already appeared." She kept describing the situation, emphasizing that it was a flourishing age.

Soon, Hila couldn't help but ask, "Uncle Messiah, now that you've awakened, should we announce it to the world, to Lord Emperor Qi and the Primordial Gods? They would surely be overjoyed to know!"

Messiah, however, shook his head and slowly looked up at the sky. "No, they wouldn't be overjoyed. If they knew I had survived into this era, they might even want to kill me directly."

The Martial God Palace members were greatly alarmed. Why? He was clearly the guide who passed on the torch of civilization, the Savior, and once a great being comparable to the Primordial Gods... Could this involve ancient, hidden Buddhist and Daoist history? Was it related to why Hermes, who once ruled the Land of Gods, fell? Was it not as simple as being attacked and killed by the Moon God Season?

"Why would the Primordial Gods and others want to..." Lin Hongfeng interjected anxiously. "Your deliberate awakening in this era also carries an inexplicable mystery, as if you're planning something..."

"Leave aside the rest," Messiah looked at them. "If you still trust that I would not harm you, then find a way to help me break through this Dao field's barrier and reach beyond the chaotic heavens."

Break out? Break out of the vast Seventh-Tier Celestial Court before them? At that moment, Lin Hongfeng and the others felt goosebumps all over their bodies.
