Chapter 1346: Great Havoc in Heaven

"We understand." With that, Hela and Mu Yuling bowed respectfully. The two stopped, looking at the black-clad, black-eyed young man before them.

They now understood that the great Monarch Messiah, Hermes, the God of Wisdom, although he had feigned death through some means and remained so until today, had never changed his original intention. He was still the God of Wisdom, Mercury the Thrice Great, who paved the way for future generations, imparting wisdom to people in order to perpetuate the flame of civilization.

This was enough. There was no need to ask too many questions. What did it matter if there were hardships and dangers, like mountains of knives and seas of fire, or if survival seemed all but impossible?

There were far too many geniuses and prodigies allied with the Primordial Ancient Deities, while too few stood with Hermes. On their side, one person missing might not matter, but Uncle Messiah's side was desperately short of talent.

Regardless, they had to act to see what was right or wrong. If the Primordial Ancient Deities truly lost their gamble and their entire front collapsed, Messiah's side might be the last spark, perhaps even becoming the final ark to save civilization.

"How are we going to get out?" Mu Yuling pondered and asked.

Hela replied, "We'll have to fight our way out. We're well aware of the strictness of the Seventh-Tier Heavenly Court's sanctuary. There are rigorous inspections; no mortal beings are allowed within its inner space, and even beings of our level require strict approval and reporting procedures to leave."

After all, this was the sanctuary of the Seven Realms Heavenly Court. Although bloodlines like the Nine Revolutions Profound Art, Demonic Core, and the Complete Race were no longer as crucial as before, strict confidentiality measures were still in place to prevent their leakage.

Mortals and even Eighth-Tier Gods were simply not permitted to leave. Even the Path-Attainers among them, who were the most trusted core members, had to undergo rigorous scrutiny for short excursions into the Chaotic Heavens.

Normally, their true bodies did not leave; they generally moved around through avatars within the various heavens or explored the outside world via quantum mini-televisions.

"Notifying them and going through the proper procedures, or trying to sneak through the South Heaven Gate peacefully, definitely won't work," Hela said, shaking her head gravely. "Firstly, the reporting process is extremely cumbersome. The number of people leaving must be confirmed, and an immortal official must arrive beforehand to approve each person before the departure can even be scheduled... Emperor Messiah would be exposed immediately, revealing he hadn't fallen."

"The scrutiny is indeed strict; the bloodlines cannot be lost," Mu Yuling sighed, adding, "Our only option is to pretend to inadvertently approach the South Heaven Gate. Given our trustworthy status, we can keep moving closer, then suddenly break out and fight our way through the South Heaven Gate to reach the Chaotic Heaven's outer sanctuary!"

This was their only method, but the success rate was very low. Both of them were incomplete Ninth-Tier Path-Attainers; while their combat power was top-tier, there were many other powerful Path-Attainers comparable to them.

"But we still have to go, and speed is of the essence," Hela declared, having made up her mind. "If we delay and the news of Emperor Messiah's feigned death and rebirth is discovered, it will be disastrous."

Without hesitation or much to pack, they made brief preparations and set out lightly.

"Travel safely." Lin Hongfeng paused, appearing to hesitate before speaking.

Of the original members of the Martial God Palace, only the three of them remained. If they failed, Mu Yuling and Hela would likely perish, leaving her truly alone.

After all, immortality in the era of the Myriad Heavens and Worlds was relative. If a multi-heavenly power, controlling all the heavens under its command, destroyed all your bodies across those heavens, you would undoubtedly die. Unless... you not only had avatars within this heavenly power but also secretly concealed a body in the universes of other heavenly powers. However, such individuals were extremely rare; possessing hidden identities and infiltrating two heavenly powers simultaneously was, at the very least, beyond their capabilities.

Lin Hongfeng couldn't help but call out one last time: "Don't you dare die! Didn't you two keep complaining about wanting to eat chicken tips? Next time you come back, I'll treat you."

The South Heaven Gate. Immortal qi drifted, and immortal palaces stood tall. From a distance, powerful Heavenly Gods could be seen guarding it. Behind the magnificent and towering bronze gate was a faintly rotating spatial vortex, connecting to the space beyond the sanctuary, which was the land outside the Chaotic Heavens. The surroundings were incredibly peaceful and serene.

Hela and Mu Yuling slowly approached the South Heaven Gate and called out to the guarding general. "We need to report our departure." The powerful Heavenly God, who served as the guard, glanced at them and suddenly smiled. "Ah, the two Martial Gods of the Martial God Palace, going out, are you? What do you intend to do?" Two great Path-Attainers commanded the guard's respect, especially since powerful female cultivators were exceptionally rare.

"We need to..." Hela's expression became slightly serious, then she suddenly raised a hand and stunned the guarding general.

The next second, a golden shimmer suddenly trembled across the sky above the South Heaven Gate. Huge golden sparks burst forth. "As expected, there are detection methods here that we weren't aware of," Hela's expression grew grim. "Those guys' methods are disgusting; layer upon layer of defenses, turning this place into an impenetrable fortress."

The two moved faster; they had to act quickly, otherwise, if a group of Path-Attainers arrived, their two pairs of fists would be no match for so many.

"Two Heavenly Gods, you actually..." The faces of the surrounding guards changed. *Crack.* They raised their hands and suppressed everyone. Various Dao techniques blossomed, and below the level of Path-Attainers, gods seemed like mere mortal ants. They strode forward.

They hadn't taken two steps when, with a *rip*, a violent rift tore open in the sky. Golden light streamed down.

"Hela, Mu Yuling, how dare your Martial God Palace!?" An enraged roar came from outside. Hela slowly turned around. It was the long-unseen Incense Heavenly Gods: Thunder Emperor, God-Slayer Heavenly Emperor, and others, the greatest enforcers of the South Heaven Gate, possessing boundless magical power.

"Incense Heavenly Gods!" The two women's expressions shifted slightly.

"Let me handle this." From Hela's Sea of Consciousness, a black-haired, black-eyed man slowly emerged. He sighed softly, looking at the celestial soldiers filling the sky. "What a familiar scene. At the Queen Mother Green Vine's Peach Banquet back then, many of you celestial soldiers were familiar faces. Some are still here, others have disappeared."

The golden gods filling the sky were slightly startled. Thunder Emperor and the others looked on, their faces filled with surprise and anger, feeling a strong sense of unease. This was too bizarre, and he couldn't help but shout, "Emperor Messiah! You, as the remaining will of Hermes, have not fallen? And now you launch a surprise attack on my South Heaven Gate right before our eyes? What is the meaning of this?"
