Chapter 1424: Third Deadlock

Tu Xin knew clearly that by following the future and adhering to the predetermined course of events, he was, in a sense, truly putting his faith in fate and destiny.

He had always considered himself a nascent sprout of the future. Could he, then, already be decaying in some fundamental way?

"Who is truly decaying..."

Tu Xin closed his eyes, having already entered the most terrifying abyss in the universe.

Within the singularity, he became an infinitely small point. Molecules, atoms, quarks—all fundamental units of matter ceased to exist here.

What is nothingness?

What is chaos?

This place embodied both.

Not even the most basic forms of matter existed; everything had completely transformed into the primordial wellspring of the universe.

Tu Xin's methods were so intricate that no one else could comprehend them. Utilizing immense computational power, he directly concealed himself within a hidden crevice, precisely arriving in this safe harbor.

"This power..."

The terrifying singularity was devouring him, posing a danger tens of thousands of times more perilous than he had imagined.

"I must remain hidden within this crevice. Even the slightest contact with the outside will mean certain death."

"A normal cosmic singularity couldn't possibly have gaps or loopholes because its rules are complete. However, this singularity, formed by incomplete rules, allows for the possibility of lurking here!"

He burst into laughter, realizing he had been right all along!

The Emperor-Lord had slipped into his blind spot, almost ensnaring him.

"How beautiful this sight is. He said he had seen it countless times?"

Tu Xin, as if in a small room, watched the blizzard and chaos rage outside the window, and couldn't help but feel a slight tremor of apprehension.

"Nevertheless, I ultimately succeeded."

Only Tu Xin truly understood the immense danger.

Life and death hung in that single instant.

That precise moment was arguably the closest he had ever come to death in his entire life.

Yet, as he had predicted, the greatest danger often concealed the greatest opportunity.

Within this sanctuary, one could most intimately comprehend the true cosmic singularity, perceive its primordial power, and deepen their understanding of its very concept.

"Understanding the source of everything is the key to reaching the destined Eleventh Stage."

"Although the door to the universe's Eleventh Stage has not yet opened, by mastering and comprehending this power in advance, my breakthrough to the Eleventh Stage will be a natural progression."

He began to meditate, and his comprehension of the singularity rapidly expanded. The power he wielded grew increasingly refined and familiar.

The Eleventh Stage is the ultimate realm in the universe.

This realm bestows power equivalent to the universe's origin!

The universe may decay, but he does not. The universe may be destroyed, but he does not perish. He is a magnificent eagle, soaring across cosmic epochs, through every single one.

"What a magnificent, ultimate life form this is. We shall determine the final victory and defeat based on it," he murmured.

Yet, in the next second, his expression subtly shifted.

He clearly saw another singularity following closely, quickly arriving at his exact location. Its movements resembled his, as if mimicking his approach, though appearing quite crude.

"You've indeed entered."

Tu Xin's voice turned sharp. "Still so cautious, mimicking my crude method and not revealing more of your techniques. You follow every step I take."

He refused to believe that someone who had entered countless times wouldn't possess more refined and perfected methods.

Xu Zhi cast a glance at him. "As singularities, do you intend to fight me here?"

Tu Xin chuckled. "A confrontation here, even a slight misstep, would lead to mutual annihilation. But I fear death. Do you not?"

He was their true form, and while the other party was also a true form...

However, the other party possessed clones across the myriad universes outside. Thus, even if their main body's strongest combat power were to perish, it would be a significant loss but an acceptable price.

"Indeed, there should be a battle," the Emperor-Lord stated.

"But you cannot kill me. You might be able to detonate the entire singularity, shattering this sanctuary and destroying me with it... but there isn't enough time," Tu Xin sneered. "The singularity's explosion and collapse are instantaneous; the speed is too great to allow for a sufficient opportunity to act."

"That's why I didn't act," the Emperor-Lord replied, remaining seated.

Xu Zhi thought Tu Xin talked too much.

"Could you speak less, so we can properly study this singularity together?"

Xu Zhi, however, ignored him, focusing instead on breaking through to the Eleventh Stage, comprehending the singularity's structure and principles, and even transforming himself into a singularity to perfect this miraculous martial art.

Tu Xin watched as the other party fell silent, his eyes flickering slightly. "You're still deducing your miraculous martial art. Are you truly that confident—"

He didn't finish his sentence, suddenly staring at the Emperor-Lord with an expression of profound shock.

He stared at the man before him with an expression of utter disbelief, trembling as he exclaimed, "Your miraculous martial art! So that's it! Everything, all of this, was part of your calculation!"

Xu Zhi paused, then looked at Tu Xin with a sudden spark of curiosity.

Had he seen the future again?

This monster was simply inhuman.

His words weren't false; he could indeed continually perceive the future, deducing every shift in the grand scheme, much like a chess master who could envision fifty or sixty moves ahead.

"My wisdom transcends time; my left eye sees the future, my right eye the past."

This was not an absurdity, but a fact.

While he was still in the midst of his own deductions, the other had already completed the deduction of this miraculous martial art, and judging by his expression, was already formulating countermeasures.

"Did you see it?" the Emperor-Lord suddenly chuckled. "Did you see the power of the Nine Revolutions Profound Art I deduced?"

Tu Xin remained silent.

"You are quite remarkable," the Emperor-Lord said, speaking seriously for the first time. In his mind, he thought, *Stop fixating on trivialities; this is my true strategy unfolding now.*

Tu Xin took a deep breath. "This martial art... were you waiting for me here all along?"

If he wasn't mistaken, this would be the greatest variable in the history of all cosmic epochs. Once this cultivation method was perfected, perhaps no one in the universe could defeat the strongest man in cosmic history.

He saw a checkmate!

The third checkmate.

While he had managed to break the first and second checkmates, for this third one before him, he saw virtually no hope.

"This terrifying man," he muttered, closing his eyes. An unspeakable dread settled in his heart, a fear of being so thoroughly outmaneuvered. "Each layer is interlinked, more terrifying than the last. Even if I broke through the previous checkmates, he was waiting for me here, leading to an even more profound despair."

Observing his silence, Xu Zhi vaguely surmised what he had seen.

His Nine Revolutions Profound Art could succeed, and its success would be terrifying.

"This means the cultivation method has a chance of success, so I can deduce it," Xu Zhi mused, an imperceptible smile playing on his lips. Though he didn't know what Tu Xin had foreseen, he couldn't help but feel a sense of calm.

What interlocking scheme?

Three setups.

In reality, his plan, from beginning to end, was always just one: the new Nine Revolutions Profound Art.

However, if this single plan could truly instill fear in his opponent, that would be enough.

"He believes this is my third scheme... In truth, this is my first and only one! But if it can lead to his demise, that's all that matters. The means may differ, but a successful outcome is what counts. The Nine Revolutions Profound Art, this miraculous martial art, will secure victory," Xu Zhi murmured, shaking his head.

He was well aware of the immense power inherent in his Nine Revolutions Profound Art.

Consider its terror: it was akin to a martial art collaboratively deduced by the entirety of the current cosmic biological civilization.

Xu Zhi finally let out a silent sigh of relief, muttering, "After all that meandering and baseless speculation, we've finally returned to the core issue. Now you truly understand the power of the miraculous martial art I've pioneered. *This* is a dignified confrontation."
