Chapter 1460: Creation God

“The overall situation is settled! The great war is over, and all that remains is to deal with the aftermath.”

Zhizhu bowed reverently. Ignoring the roars of the defeated from afar, he pointed to the sky and smiled, saying, “Ancient Emperor from the prehistoric universe, we only need to wait for the arrival of the new era. Soon, we will be able to attain the Eleventh Rank.”

“As for those others, they won’t be able to deduce the Grand Dao’s password anytime soon. They can only stare helplessly,” Zhizhu stated honestly.

“You are quite interesting,” the Emperor commented, looking at him.

It was truly remarkable that he was the master of the Longevity Realm, a heroic figure who had ruled the universe for fourteen billion years.

His great reputation was well-deserved!

According to the normal historical trajectory, the other nine Longevity Saints would not have escaped the great tribulation. Throughout the fourteen-billion-year history of the old humanity, only the Master of the Longevity Realm managed to survive the catastrophe. He even seized one of the ten seats meant for new life forms, becoming the sole victor among the old creatures and achieving his dream!

Now, with the historical tide shifted and the cosmic situation altered—even the new life forms had been driven down by Xu Zhi—he had still managed to maintain his position. He forcibly re-occupied a seat, becoming one of the ten Grand Dao seats.

Such a person commanded admiration.

The Emperor narrowed his eyes, glancing at Zhizhu, and said indifferently, “I didn’t expect you to possess such capabilities. Very well… you may attain your Dao shortly.”

Zhizhu nodded, his mind actually in turmoil.

“The Eleventh Rank is coming.”

Xu Zhi slowly looked up at the sky. “I didn’t expect such a configuration.”

He had a multitude of Longevity Saints within him. As for the Grand Dao’s password, his mole, Zhi Ji, had already revealed it to him, so he could naturally attain the Dao without any obstacles.

Meanwhile, Zhizhu’s expression was conflicted. He looked at the serene Emperor before him, his mind racing.

“Becoming the Eleventh Rank means not only embodying the true Dao of the universe and transcending it, but also transforming an entire multiverse within that universe into one’s Dao field! One would become a semi-creator god within it!”

“There are ten Grand Dao seats: nine multiverses and one Longevity Realm… The Longevity Realm is the most powerful seat! That’s why, even when the great tide descends, holding the first seat gives me the courage to resist the siege of the nine new life forms, which is why I haven’t emerged yet…”

“But now, if the Emperor asks me for the Grand Dao’s password for my Longevity Realm seat, to control my universe, what should I do? Give it or not?”

He was struggling internally.

The Grand Dao secrets of the other nine multiverses were indeed known to the nine Longevity Saints.

However, only he knew the Grand Dao’s password for the Longevity Realm.

“If I don’t give it, my combat power will surely increase exponentially, but can I really stop the Emperor?… I have a strong feeling it would still be incredibly difficult to resist his power.” His expression grew more conflicted.

“But if I do give it, I will be completely weaker than him, the gap will widen significantly. If he truly wanted to kill me, he wouldn’t even need to be seriously injured; he could just directly kill me…”

He hesitated.

If he forcibly turned hostile and refused the Emperor’s request for the Longevity Realm’s password, directly attaining the Dao himself… it would be difficult for the Emperor to kill him in such a short time. However, if he turned hostile, there would be trouble after he, while occupying the Longevity Realm, broke through to the Eleventh Rank…

“However, the Emperor is an upright and honorable person; his word is naturally his bond. If I give it to him, he would likely disdain to seize the opportunity to kill me…” He was still hesitating.

He fundamentally distrusted ordinary people, as too many acted one way on the surface and another internally.

They were all hypocrites.

But the Emperor, despite being able to instantly kill them with his full power at the outset, continually allowed them to grow, intending to defeat them at their peak. This showed his pride.

The Emperor was not like the insidious, behind-the-scenes figures such as the previous Insecta Queens.

Throughout the entire process, however, the Emperor did not ask him for the Longevity Realm’s Grand Dao password. Zhizhu couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief, quickly pretending he didn’t know anything, thinking it was best if he wasn’t asked at all…

Xu Zhi, however, was actually indifferent and felt nothing particular towards the Longevity Realm.

After all, everything was secretly his; openly, letting Zhizhu manage it for him was quite good…

Ultimately, Xu Zhi had no intention of revealing himself, even if he truly ruled the entire Grand Universe, possessed limitless power, and could decide everyone’s life and death…

Boom!

In the sky, the Grand Dao was being fully completed, layer by layer.

The universe seemed to tremble invisibly.

The Grand Dao was completely restored!

In everyone’s eyes, an incredibly shocking scene seemed to unfold invisibly, yet it manifested differently to each individual.

Some seemed to see a massive tree, its branches completely filling out, the brown limbs becoming dense. Suddenly, countless fresh green leaves sprouted, growing luxuriantly and moving towards completion.

Others seemed to hear a true Grand Dao melody, which, with the completion of each subsequent note, transformed into a perfect, complete musical piece, humming endlessly.

Still others seemed to witness a grand bronze bell, its missing puzzle pieces finally assembled, completing itself and beginning to sway across the sky.

“The Grand Dao is complete,” the Emperor said softly.

Simultaneously, all Bloodline Saints felt their power rapidly dissipating, their realms falling, and their elemental forces swiftly returning to the universe!

“Begin to attain the Dao.”

Xu Zhi began by casually selecting one of the nine universes. He entered it, following its rules to reverse the flow, collapse the singularity, and return to the very beginning, the primal state.

This felt like an instant, yet also like traversing eons of eternity.

In an endless stream of light, the universe rapidly tilted, seemingly transforming into a vibrant, multicolored vortex. He returned within it, witnessing the most captivating truths of the world.

Xu Zhi had completely transcended.

It was an indescribable yet entirely natural sensation; the entire universe he resided in had become his Dao field, rendering him omnipotent and omniscient…

The entire breakthrough occurred without any ripples.

To outsiders, he seemed to shrink into a point instantly, then rapidly expand back to his original form. There appeared to be no difference, all in a mere instant.

The process of breakthrough was utterly unremarkable.

After all, he was already unimaginably proficient in this realm; breaking through was as simple as drinking water.

“I have reached the Eleventh Rank,” Xu Zhi said softly, his hands clasped behind his back.

“The ultimate life of the universe.” Xu Zhi lowered his gaze, his expression calm. Suddenly, he looked at Zhizhu, who had also broken through, and gently pressed his hand down.

“You??”

Zhizhu had no time to react. Even though he was also of the Eleventh Rank, he was instantly crushed into smoke.

“This power!!!!”

Zhizhu reformed, his expression filled with uncontrollable shock. The joy of just breaking through to the Eleventh Rank vanished instantly, replaced by an overwhelming sense of dread. “He can kill me, and he doesn’t even need to be seriously injured. He can kill me with a mere gesture. How is this possible in the same realm!?”

The Emperor glanced at the terrified Zhizhu. “Don’t think you broke through because I couldn’t stop you… Rather, I found you interesting, a variable that emerged, and your various methods surprised me. That’s why I allowed you to break through this realm… I could easily kill you before you broke through, and it’s the same now.”

Zhizhu’s face was pale as he looked at the powerful, domineering man.

The Emperor, however, shook his head and remained silent.

He slowly looked up at the Genesis in the sky.

Medusa was still collapsing, and with the completion of the universe, her power seemed to be growing. Winds howled.

The Emperor gazed at the huge vortex in the distance and suddenly spoke softly, “The truly ancient, magnificent being from the prehistoric universe is about to descend.”

“What?”

Zhizhu was immediately astonished.

They were already true Eleventh Rank beings. Although they hadn’t displayed any combat power, they knew they stood at the absolute apex of the universe, with no one stronger than them. Yet, the Emperor was focusing on this vortex…

The existence from the prehistoric universe…

Zhizhu was plunged into an unimaginable state of bewilderment.

Descend???

The more Zhizhu thought about it, the more terrifying it seemed.

Meanwhile, Tu Xin, the Insecta Queen, and others in the distance were stunned speechless with fear.

An existence from the prehistoric universe…

They, as losers, no longer had the possibility of breaking through to the Eleventh Rank, and now, events were taking an even stranger turn…

“Indeed, the truly ancient, magnificent being from the prehistoric era… we can’t even reach a single strand of its hair…” The Emperor, however, gazed at the vortex in the sky, softly murmuring a phrase that filled everyone with unknown dread, his hands clasped behind his back, stating blandly:

“The Creator God….”
