Chapter 759: Star-patterned Moon Inscription Monument in the Starry Sky

Xu Zhi's eyes brightened. "This idea is excellent. The energy released by the sun every second is equivalent to 91 billion one-million-ton hydrogen bombs. Just this single second of energy could power all of humanity on Earth for 250,000 years."

In the vast and boundless universe, no civilization could fully describe its supreme grandeur and splendor. A single star alone made humanity realize its own insignificance.

This is also why the Dyson Sphere is considered by current scientists to be an inevitable path for advanced civilizations.

Currently, humanity still relies on primitive coal, wind, and hydropower, and even imperfect nuclear power plants. However, as humans venture into space, a natural evolution of energy sources is inevitable.

Xu Zhi, on the other hand, had already embarked on this inevitable path of advanced civilization: the Dyson Sphere.

His method, however, was unconventional.

Unlike the previous generation's Zerg Overlord, who used mechanical Dyson Spheres, Xu Zhi, with his supernatural abilities, directly employed a supernatural biological Dyson Sphere – sun gods living within the sun.

Creatures from ancient myths.

"These sun gods will be living Dyson Spheres, solar power stations... rooted in this vast and enormous sun, siphoning energy for me." Xu Zhi's expression grew agitated. "The establishment of a stellar civilization and Dyson Spheres means my energy will enter an unimaginably high-dimensional conduit!"

"No, wait, it's not just that!"

Xu Zhi's voice became completely unnatural.

He suddenly turned his head to look at a beautiful and dazzling storm planet, resembling a twisted, dense, deep-blue abstract oil painting.

"Not just the sun, but also gas giant planets!"

These gas giants, unlike rocky planets, are stormy, swirling planets composed of vast amounts of hydrogen and helium. They constantly resemble a swirling storm-black hole, with flashes of lightning and thunder.

While Earth is a rocky planet, gas giants are not uncommon in the universe.

In our solar system, examples include Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

In this particular solar system, there were also three such gas giants.

"These three planets, constantly acting as energy storm planets, emit violent forces like tsunamis and landslides... It's naturally impossible for normal organisms, or even plants and animals, to live there, but..." Xu Zhi pondered, "Elemental creatures similar to those of the Buddha element could survive..."

Elemental life forms could reside on gas giants.

"These three planets could integrate the giant octopus's genes, allowing me to introduce the remaining four elements: electricity, fire, and water." Xu Zhi took a deep breath. "My previously established Four Element Plane was, in effect, a foreshadowing for the framework of this stellar civilization sandbox."

If successfully established, the four-element power stations would yield unimaginable benefits.

At this point, he was simply doing whatever he pleased, no matter how audacious.

The more exaggerated, the better.

He was like a giant, freely splashing ink onto a dark, ancient starlit canvas, creating life and the origins of miraculous myths with joyous abandon.

"Not maximizing the use of the entire civilization sandbox at my disposal... that would be the most foolish thing."

Xu Zhi smiled. He was no fool, unlike the idiotic protagonists in stories who limit themselves and wander around exploring.

Of course, the sensible approach was to cultivate in seclusion, utilize all available resources, take advantage of others' struggles, develop discreetly, become the ultimate being in the universe, and then venture out to see how exciting the outside world was.

Never leave until invincible.

This was the true path.

"So, let's begin..."

Xu Zhi began setting up a laboratory on the far side of the moon to commence his research.

"However, the more I strive for perfection, the greater the workload becomes! It's unimaginably vast. Creating elemental creatures that can survive on these gas giants and the sun will take centuries, easily."

"After all, these will be true cosmic sun gods!"

Xu Zhi exclaimed with admiration.

He always had an eye on the next big thing, never content with just what he had.

For example, he greedily cultivated many techniques; one might say he had immense ambition. But without the drive to forge ahead, how could a strong person reach the pinnacle?

Establishing and developing a civilization often involves centuries of tedious research and exploration.

Without this approach, leveraging deep knowledge for creation, there would be no flourishing or infinite possibilities for a future super-civilization.

The first step was to establish a fixed teleportation array. This was simple enough, as he had brought the other end of the two-way portal with him.

Returning to his room in the orchard, he packed a few things, intending to camp out for a few days to thoroughly set up the new cosmic sandbox. He took the desk lamp and returned to the lunar surface.

"I just became a god, and I've already abandoned everything to come straight to the cosmos and begin a new, massive sandbox civilization creation..." His expression was odd.

He looked at the crystal wall system lamp.

In the days that had passed, the Phoenix's plane remained peaceful and prosperous, filled with harmony and devoid of conflict. The elemental creatures lived joyfully and had multiplied significantly.

Xu Zhi extracted their elemental essence and attempted to extract the giant octopus's genes, merging them with the Buddha element.

Suddenly, he paused.

"Before researching and experimenting with these elemental mythical creatures, I need to guide the biological civilization on the planet first..." Xu Zhi stood on the moon, looking down at the massive, Earth-sized planet below. "Otherwise, my centuries of research would simply waste their development time."

Xu Zhi planned to guide a planetary civilization, just as he had before, using the "first to prosper helps the less prosperous" approach.

As for how to guide them?

After some deliberation, Xu Zhi abandoned his previous method of erecting steles with cultivation techniques for them to observe and learn from.

After all, with the changing times, and he himself now being a high and mighty true god, using such a common, low-level method would be rather unbecoming.

"Since I'm already creating sun mythical creatures, I might as well go grander, using divine means... The entire moon will serve as a celestial divine monument. By observing the moon's phases, they will come to know the universe."

Xu Zhi smiled slightly, looking at the moon, and gently floated upwards.

"The moon will be inscribed with two distinct systems: the near side will bear totem-like inscriptions of advanced technology, while the far side will be covered with inscriptions of a cultivation system."

The technology-side inscriptions on the near side of the moon would always face the planet.

"When people are able to land on the moon, they will naturally see the far side, and thus discover the cultivation system and begin practicing... After all, starting with a technological foundation will allow civilization to develop more quickly."

Xu Zhi's expression became serene. "As for the ant-like beings inside the moon, they will naturally be able to leave the moon's interior, walk on its surface, and see the inscriptions... killing two birds with one stone."

Xu Zhi flew over the moon, traversing the vast and desolate cosmos, like an ancient banished immortal descending.

Mysterious mental arrays enveloped the entire lunar surface. Craters, mountains, channels, and meteorite impact sites formed an intricate and precise tapestry that subtly conformed to the Heavenly Dao.

By observing the moon, one could understand celestial phenomena and the path of civilization.

On the planet below.

Trees were verdant, and birds and beasts moved vibrantly.

The rapid pace of creation finally began to slow.

It was already difficult to discern the original forms of the creatures across the planet.

The sparse atmosphere, accompanied by the planet's continuous greening and vegetation covering the land, gradually grew thicker.

As a truly vast planet comparable in size to Earth, its atmospheric composition changed. With the thickening atmosphere, sparse amounts of nitrogen and ammonia began to be retained.

Even deep within the glaciers, faint traces of liquid water began to appear, and extremely thin oxygen started to diffuse. However, the near-vacuum environment remained extremely harsh, utterly insufficient for conventional life forms to survive.

Yet, these vacuum-dwelling creatures did not rely on external oxygen; they had an internal cycle of carbon dioxide and oxygen exchange. They lived in countless tribes, still in a primitive, beast-like state, raw and uncivilized.

But ultimately, they had not yet developed.

After all, the difference between an intelligent civilization and beasts lies in language and writing.

Without language and writing, there is no communication, no inheritance, and thus no way to pass on wisdom from generation to generation. If wisdom cannot be transmitted and form a continuous flame, civilization cannot be born.

Yet, in a vacuum, sound cannot travel.

Countless beast-like humans struggled in nature, minuscule and vulnerable, hunted by large predators, serving as members at the bottom of the food chain.

Until one full moon night.

Clear moonlight illuminated the land. Inside a cave, a pregnant woman in animal skins struggled painfully on a bed, about to give birth, while many people nervously paced back and forth.

The pregnant woman bit down painfully on a wooden stick, her knuckles white, staring intently at the sky, at the moon.

In this barbaric society, no one knew who the pregnant woman's father was. There were no clearly defined marriages; children born into a tribe were raised communally by all members. Thus, all the men were anxious, as every child's birth represented the tribe's hope.

Tonight, the moon was different. While the moon typically waxed and waned, now a full moon was visible, adorned with clear yet mysterious and intricate patterns.

It was as if a mysterious laurel tree was etched onto the lunar surface, its branches lush and splendid.

The more the pregnant woman gazed, the more entranced she became.

It was as if all her pain dissipated.

The bright, full moon in the sky seemed like a golden pocket watch swinging hypnotically, her mind seemingly drawn into a mysterious vortex.

The next second, the laurel tree seemed to transform into a mysterious toad, quietly resting on the full moon.

Suddenly, she felt as if she had entered a wondrous world of thought, with a mysterious torrent washing over her ears. She seemed to see a shadowy figure standing in the void, and in an instant, she understood something.

"Entropy, Entropy."

The baby was born, accompanied by an uncanny phenomenon.

The infant emitted a faint divine thought, a form of language that could propagate in a vacuum.

As the divine thought resonated, the surrounding ancient humans lifted the distinct infant high, parallel to the moon, and began to sing and dance.

A single word echoed between heaven and earth: Entropy.

A new civilization had truly begun.

This period of history eventually became obscured, with two accounts considered most credible by archaeologists.

The later "Classic of Entropy, Ode to Mother Entropy" recorded:

"Ji Entropy's mother was in labor, observed the Ji Moon at night, and gave birth to Entropy."

Meanwhile, the history compiled by the flourishing Grand Entropy Dynasty, "The Royal Chronicle of Entropy Rites," recorded:

"The Saint had no father; Mother Entropy met with a deity in a dream, and was moved by the moon to give birth."

Both accounts state that Entropy was born in response to the moon. However, the difference lies in the latter history suggesting that Entropy's father was the god who created the moon. According to later archaeologists' analysis, it is highly probable that King Entropy, unwilling to acknowledge his chaotic birth, considered himself a descendant of a mother and a god.

However, the specifics remain unverified.
