Chapter 942: Crying Civilization, The End Era

“Is this a real black hole?”

A scientist in a white coat looked from afar at the strange black hole inside the crystal bottle, which was slowly beginning to devour and absorb everything.

If it were truly a large, man-made black hole, the entire galaxy could indeed be sucked into it. Space-time would be stretched into strips, and all planets would instantly be elongated and crushed.

Another scientist in a white coat said, “No, that's not a black hole. It's not that easy to form a stable one. Theoretically, even if all the energy of our entire solar system were to converge, it would be far from enough to create a black hole...”

“This technique, this method of absorption, is somewhat similar to the universe's Great Collapse! It recycles all laws, matter, life, and light, drawing them into a 'singularity' furnace to recast the universe and prepare for the next Big Bang.”

“The Great Collapse? The Big Bang?”

“Yes, the universe was born from a singularity that underwent a Big Bang, expanding outward into countless planets... And the death of the universe is when the entire cosmos retracts, rapidly collapsing inward into a single point... That is the Great Collapse.”

“The Big Bang and the Great Collapse represent a cycle of birth and death.”

“So she's performing a Great Collapse, sucking all of us in to create a new universe? Is she creating a parallel universe?” A scientist looked nervously at the black hole. “After all, a black hole could be an entrance to another parallel space-time!... Her black hole isn't actually... connected to a parallel space-time, is it?”

“Unclear.”

The two scientists continued their discussion.

However, no one noticed a terrifying fact...

In another parallel universe, on another planet, beings identical to them were discussing the very same topic while looking at the black hole in the sky. These were also two identical scientists in white coats, saying:

“The Big Bang, the Great Collapse?”

“After all, a black hole could be an entrance to another parallel space-time!... Her black hole isn't actually connected to a parallel space-time, is it?”

“Unclear.”

Unbeknownst to them, the world had already been split into two universes. They had become infinitely tiny ants, held in the palm of a hand, while a mysterious demon god outside smiled, watching them.

“A new parallel universe has formed.”

Meanwhile, fierce winds howled. The central black hole continued to absorb everything.

“Is this her first move?”

“The opening move is already so terrifying. Aside from us top-tier beings, almost no one could survive... And this is just the beginning!”

Elsewhere, Mr. Mao looked into the distance at his disciples. “If I'm not mistaken, these beings won't even notice much out of the ordinary... yet another parallel universe has already formed.”

“Master, I don't understand! Many people won't feel anything unusual from this move? But a parallel universe belonging to this very planet formed instantly?” Mansha frowned.

“You don't understand?”

“That's precisely the point.”

Mr. Mao smiled, then lightly grasped the void. A miniature Mansha, no bigger than an ant, appeared in his hand. “But what about now? You practice quantum martial arts; don't you understand?”

Mansha stared at her other self, deeply shaken. “When did this happen? A part of my soul was actually severed and flew towards that black hole?”

If her master hadn't intervened, she wouldn't have even known she'd been split. The Evil God truly lives up to her reputation for mastering wicked soul magic and unspeakable evil, silently... severing their souls and pushing them into a crystal-wall-like parallel universe?

“Oh my goodness, a severed soul would clearly lead to... an extremely weakened state!”

“How can we feel nothing?”

“It's as if someone brazenly cut off your arm with a knife, and yet you didn't feel it at all! You didn't even notice you were missing an arm!”

“It's as if a voice from the unknown told you: You were born with one arm missing, and that's how it should be... So, instinctively, we also believed we were naturally meant to have only one arm.”

“This is mental soul charm; it's unfathomable.” The disciples whispered, finding it truly horrifying.

Upon seeing this, Princess Xia Er and others turned pale and quickly pleaded with their master to help sense the soul particles in the void and retrieve them.

“You now understand that this black hole is severing your souls and inserting them into the parallel universes she creates!” Mr. Mao retrieved them one by one, smiling. “After all, His Majesty the Evil God is most skilled at manipulating and severing souls... creating parallel universes in the process. However, this time, it's not a soul-based parallel universe, but a real parallel universe...”

“A real parallel universe? How could it be a real parallel universe?”

What was the concept of a real parallel universe? It would mean a genuine version of yourself living next door. Previous crystal-wall universes were all soul planes... severing souls to form parallel universes was achievable, but this?!

“Didn't you notice? Some of the matter from your bodies has also decreased.”

“Matter decreased?”

Mansha looked at the tiny Mansha in her hand. Though ant-sized, it was surprisingly tangible. She instantly realized, horrified and panic-stricken, “She not only severed our souls but also quietly took some of our physical matter—hair, skin—and reorganized it to form this tiny ant!”

“Still don't understand?” Mr. Mao chuckled, “It's a summoning ritual! Don't your planets often have those summoning rituals performed by evil mages? To summon otherworldly beings? Those beings also have souls and flesh...”

They suddenly grasped it. Their bodies had undergone a reverse summoning array. It didn't summon their entire being but siphoned off parts of their souls and minute amounts of flesh and blood.

“This is too terrifying...” Mansha's voice was hoarse. “To create parallel universes and quantum-reorganize our bodies into ant-sized versions of ourselves... How incredibly learned one must be, how deeply must one understand the rules of the real universe to achieve this...”

She knew how terrifying this was. If your soul was severed, you wouldn't be a complete soul! Just like their master, with an incomplete soul, unable to break through to the complete ninth rank... unless you found your counterpart in another parallel space-time and defeated them! But how could you guarantee that your other self from a parallel universe wouldn't kill you?

A chilling thought struck Mansha. “One day, to be sought out and beaten to death by another self—that's not just possible... it's almost inevitable.”

At this point, the Thirteenth Prince said bitterly, “Our parallel universe counterparts are constantly splitting. Sooner or later, the strongest one will emerge, unify the multiverse, and then come for our original bodies...”

This was more than just a chilling thought... What a tragic future this was!

Silently, the black hole swallowed and absorbed everything. In front of the black hole, a towering Evil God stood, her voice now permeating the entire void, full of extreme temptation:

“Observe me, and you will observe the multiverse.”

“Gaze upon me, and you will see... another self in the mirror.”

Countless beings instinctively looked towards the sky.

“Don't look!” Mansha frantically transmitted a message, screaming through her communication device, heartbroken: “She is the Evil God of the Multiverse! She is using her body and voice as mediums for a soul summoning ritual, and the black hole behind her is that ritual! Anyone who hears her or looks directly at her will be pulled into the multiverse!”

“The Evil God of the Multiverse cannot be directly gazed upon!”

“Don't look directly! Don't listen!”

“Fools, run! Run!!!”

Mansha collapsed to the ground, her voice a heart-wrenching wail, choking back sobs. “She is evil itself... Do not look directly, do not listen to her voice! Gaze upon her, and you will be dragged into the multiverse, and another self will appear.... Waaahhh...”

She couldn't help but wail, uttering a final roar to the entire planet, but it was all in vain. Drawn by that utterly captivating voice, everyone instinctively looked towards it.

“It's over, we're already finished...”

Some strong individuals had already reacted and were frantically trying to escape, unaware that they had long since been severed and pulled into a parallel space-time.
