Chapter 1657: A Bloody Incident Triggered by a Pile of Chicken Manure

The White Tiger blinked its eyes, as big as wells. It was just a bit of chicken manure; why such fury? For some reason, it felt like it was taking the fall for someone else.

But as the King of Beasts, a formidable and renowned creature in the garden, the White Tiger also had its dignity. Pull out its manhood? Hmph! Puny humans, you know nothing of heaven and earth!

It roared and pounced.

The human and the tiger became blurs, fighting fiercely in mid-air.

A few moments later.

The White Tiger shrieked as it fell into the distance, leaving a trail of blood across the sky.

With blood-soaked hands, Qiqi held a tiger penis longer than herself, her small face slightly cold. "Is there any 'whip' in this world that I cannot pull out?" She glanced around, preparing to continue settling scores with Jiang Fan, only then realizing that this scoundrel had slipped away the moment the White Tiger appeared.

"You bastard, just you wait!"

She put away the tiger penis and washed the blood from her hands. Looking at the ten small divine rings remaining before her, she said with a grim expression:

"Originally, I only intended to sell them for one Great Qian Divine Coin each, but now I'll have to raise the price. They'll be ten Great Qian Divine Coins apiece."

"My little lambs, don't blame me for being too greedy. Blame Jiang Fan for fleecing me so badly!"

"I can only recoup my losses from you."

At the edge of the horizon.

The White Tiger crashed heavily onto the ground, creating a deep crater. It lay weakly in the crater, its skull dented, and a blood-soaked hole punched clean through its back. The worst part was that it had lost the source of joy in its tiger life.

It gasped in pain, its breath fading. It was already on the verge of death.

Both were at the Five Heavenly Declines stage, and Qiqi could defeat opponents of the same realm with ease.

The White Tiger's vision began to blur as scenes from its life flashed through its mind. It remembered being a carefree cub, meeting a smiling person who said he would take it to a good place. And so, it came to the desolate ancient hunting ground, full of fierce beasts, living daily amidst hunting and being hunted. After miraculously surviving one life-or-death tribulation after another, it finally became the great demon of the Five Heavenly Declines stage that it was today.

But it wasn't happy; it still missed the past. It thought of itself running in the sunset; that was its lost youth.

Just then.

In its blurry vision, a young man appeared, floating in mid-air with a smile on his lips. The same detestable smiling face as the scoundrel who brought it here.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk," he mused. "A bloody incident caused by a bit of chicken manure."

"Too brutal!"

Jiang Fan looked at the White Tiger's abdomen, seeing the bloody hole, and felt goosebumps rise on his skin. He couldn't imagine how much pain the White Tiger must have been in.

The White Tiger roared weakly. This bastard had made it take the blame, turning it into the little girl's toy for venting anger, and now he had the nerve to mock it? It should be this bastard whose manhood was pulled out.

Jiang Fan smiled slightly and took out a Heavenly Garment Divine Water, saying:

"This is a sacred healing medicine from my Central Land. It can save your life and heal you quickly."

"And of course, it can help you regain your vigor."

The White Tiger stared at him, not believing a word he said.

Jiang Fan rubbed his temples. "A simple-minded brute with the guts of a chicken."

"Do I need to lie to a dying tiger?"

"If I wanted to harm you, I'd just wait until you're completely dead and then take your corpse back to sell for money."

The White Tiger's eyes shifted. He had a point. It weakly opened its mouth; although it couldn't speak, its meaning was clear:

"You're not giving it to me for free, are you?"

Jiang Fan said:

"To be honest, I am an honest merchant."

"Now I want to make a fair deal with you."

The White Tiger knew there was no such thing as a free lunch. Looking at the Heavenly Garment Divine Water in Jiang Fan's hand, it raised a paw and pointed at itself, meaning:

"What do you want from me?"

Jiang Fan said, "I need a mount that can move freely in the desolate ancient hunting ground."

"I observe your remarkable build; you are a rare and unparalleled talent for a mount."

The White Tiger's eyes widened. Feeling utterly humiliated, it opened its mouth and roared furiously for a while. The gist of it was: "You're the mount! Your whole family are mounts!"

Jiang Fan pretended not to understand, saying:

"Would you consider being my mount for a while?"

"Once the desolate ancient hunt ends, I will return, and you will regain your freedom."

"Being a mount for a few hours in exchange for your life – that's a great deal for you."

"You should be glad that you met a philanthropist like me. If you had met a black-hearted merchant like Qiqi, there wouldn't be a single bone left of you."

The White Tiger took it in and began to ponder seriously. As a fierce beast that had fought its way through countless battles, it naturally understood that life was the most precious thing, and everything else was fleeting. Moreover, once the desolate ancient hunt ended, this group of people would indeed be teleported back. It would naturally regain its freedom.

Therefore, it nodded its massive tiger head, then opened its mouth, waiting for Jiang Fan to feed it.

Jiang Fan said, "No hurry. I need to take a wisp of your soul first."

Once the White Tiger recovered, it would have the strength of the Five Heavenly Declines stage. If it didn't keep its word, Jiang Fan wouldn't be able to do anything to it.

The White Tiger was reluctant, but feeling its life force weakening, it gritted its teeth, and with a pained groan, severed a wisp of its soul, which flew out of its body. Jiang Fan immediately seized it and injected it into a Phantom Soul Crystal. This was identical to how King Black Sun controlled Green Pearl with his soul. With this soul in hand, he could curse and kill the White Tiger's true body at any time.

Only with a means to control it did Jiang Fan then throw the Heavenly Garment Divine Water over. The White Tiger swallowed it whole, and its injuries immediately recovered at a visible rate.

Jiang Fan, meanwhile, took advantage of its healing time and closed his eyes to sense his domain. He was also curious why his domain was like a bottomless pit that could never be filled. Upon sensing, he was astonished to find that not a single one of the small divine rings Qiqi had thrown had been lost; all of them were clinging to the Full Moon Divine Ring like magnets! All forty of them—not a single one had been consumed.

No wonder Qiqi's domain couldn't be replenished no matter how she threw them; it turned out these small divine rings hadn't integrated into the divine ring at all! He reached out and grabbed one, having to exert force to pull it off.

"Strange, why didn't they integrate into my divine ring?" Jiang Fan's eyes showed confusion. He also grew worried that if they couldn't integrate, it meant his domain couldn't recover its uses. He tried pressing a small divine ring onto the Ancestral Dao Divine Ring, but it still wouldn't integrate.

"Could it be that the Flawless Ancestral Dao is too powerful, and mere laws of power cannot integrate into it?" Jiang Fan thought, "This is bad." He inwardly roared, "Integrate, you damn thing!" To his surprise, the next moment, his hand felt empty—the small divine ring had integrated. Moreover, Jiang Fan's domain uses were instantly refilled, returning to ten.

Jiang Fan was stunned for a moment before he understood. "Could it be that the Flawless Ancestral Dao disdains the power of laws, and thus refused to let it integrate?"

"Unless I, as its wielder, forcibly command it?"

He let out a long sigh of relief. Good. He could now confidently use his domain to harvest ancient blood demons!

Furthermore, to his delight, a single small divine ring was enough to fully replenish his domain. He still had thirty-nine left, more than he could ever use.

Suddenly, a thought struck him. These divine rings were only valuable in the desolate ancient hunting ground; they wouldn't be worth much back in the Central Land. Why not sell some of them? If Qiqi could be a black-hearted merchant, why couldn't Jiang Fan?
