Chapter 996: Heaven Above

After Xu Fengnian and Tuoba Bodhisattva vanished, Duanmao Deng Mao felt a sudden awkwardness. The three martial arts grandmasters before him—Deng Tai'a, Luoyang, and Xuanyuan Qingfeng—were deep within the Northern Barbarian army’s heartland, and any one of them would be a handful for him to deal with. Especially the Peach-Blossom Deity, whose prowess had been fully displayed in this battle; Deng Mao would likely find a whole barrel of trouble from him.

Deng Mao was never known for his martial arts talent; rather, he was like a diligent old farmer, cultivating his patch of land, his harvest earned through sheer perseverance. Of course, Deng Mao’s "ordinary aptitude" was only relative to the "youngsters" who had shone brilliantly in the great martial arts eras, such as the Dàxuěpíng Lackmoon Tower Master, Xuanyuan Qingfeng, who had claimed three of the thirteen titles of Xiangfu. Now, along with the young prince, she was hailed as one of the twin jades of the Central Plains martial arts world. Her astonishing talent and profound fortune were almost on par with Xu Fengnian, who already stood at the pinnacle of the human world.

Earlier, Xu Fengnian had asked the Peach-Blossom Deity to escort the two women away from the battlefield. Although Luoyang was deeply worried, she showed no reluctance and was resolutely prepared to withdraw with Deng Tai'a. She understood clearly that given the current cultivation levels of Xu Fengnian and Tuoba Bodhisattva, out of the myriad martial artists in the world, only Deng Tai'a and Huyan Daguan could intervene. For anyone else, whether they wished to offer help in a time of need or take advantage of the situation, it would be nothing short of wishful thinking; even Land Immortals would be useless. If Luoyang truly wanted to help Xu Fengnian, the further away she was, the better, otherwise she would only become a weakness Tuoba Bodhisattva could exploit against Xu Fengnian.

Only Xuanyuan Qingfeng, her gaze passing over the somber Northern Barbarian master Deng Mao, stared at the grand Northern Barbarian banner, restless and eager, as if she cared nothing for whether she would be caught in the clash of peak masters.

In this woman’s heart, loving someone was important, but whether that person loved her back was less so.

In her eyes, she would probably never fixate on just one person’s back. In her eyes, there was the goose feather snow of Dàxuěpíng, the ebb and flow of the martial arts world, the bright moon rising over the sea, and many other people, events, and sights.

Deng Mao’s achievements today naturally stemmed from his unyielding resolve. Therefore, this Northern Barbarian Grandmaster, who was effectively trapped in a deadly situation and faced with the need to confront three opponents single-handedly, remained fearless. His fighting spirit surged, and instead of retreating, he advanced. Deng Mao gripped his broken spear, his robes fluttering, and faced the figure in purple from the Central Plains. He asked in a deep voice, "Are you Xuanyuan Qingfeng of Dàxuěpíng?"

Xuanyuan Qingfeng retracted her gaze and scoffed, "Or could it be your long-lost mother?"

Deng Mao, who had already cast aside thoughts of life and death, was momentarily stunned, speechless. He clearly hadn't expected a martial arts grandmaster of Xuanyuan Qingfeng’s stature to use such unseemly language.

Not far away, Luoyang subtly shook her head and remarked with a click of her tongue, "She really needs to change that temper of hers; it's truly disagreeable."

For some reason, Luoyang had always held a subtle appreciation for this arrogant and domineering Li Yang Martial Alliance Leader.

The Peach-Blossom Deity returned a smile, a rare jest from him. "In the Central Plains, they prefer this kind. These days, experts who travel the martial world being secretive and reserved isn't popular."

Luoyang couldn't help but laugh softly. Remembering something, she quietly asked, "Why did that Dao of Heaven descending upon the human world dissipate on its own? Was it because you severed it?"

Deng Tai'a replied, shaking his head, "My sword strike just now didn't actually hit the beam of light. As for why it suddenly vanished, whether it was avoiding the sharp edge of my Tai'a Sword or hiding a deeper mystery with a backup plan, I’m not quite sure."

Luoyang looked up at the sky and said indignantly, "Clinging stubbornly, like a persistent ghost!"

Deng Tai'a agreed wholeheartedly. He turned to gaze far at the walls of Refusal of the North City and solemnly said to Xuanyuan Qingfeng, "The Northern Barbarian army is about to advance to the city walls. You two had best return to assist, lest Xu Fengnian be distracted. As for me, I must go look in the heavens."

Xuanyuan Qingfeng said expressionlessly, "Since I've come all this way, why would I turn back now? You don't need to worry about me. My life and death are my own affair!"

Deng Tai'a sighed lightly. Then, he softly uttered the word 'Rise', stepped onto his Tai'a Sword, and rode it into the sky, breaking through the clouds. Man and sword vanished into the golden sea of clouds above everyone's heads.

If Xu Fengnian's enemy was Tuoba Bodhisattva, an unrivaled opponent in the human world, making it unsuitable for Deng Tai'a to intervene, then the opponent whom this Peach-Blossom Deity regarded as a mortal enemy could perhaps only be found in the heavens.

Luoyang softly called out to the retreating figure in purple from Huishan, then smiled and said, "Xuanyuan Qingfeng, I'll give you my Zhulu Mountain as a dowry later. I reckon you'll never get married in this lifetime anyway."

Xuanyuan Qingfeng didn't turn around, but her shoulders were noticeably stiff.

Luoyang in white soared up, laughing as she left, returning to Refusal of the North City.

It wasn't that the Northern Barbarian army had been utterly broken; rather, it was because the battlefield behind Luoyang had already fallen into utter chaos, with countless Northern Barbarian soldiers fleeing in mad disarray, none able to pay attention to her movements.

It turned out that the Northern Barbarian Military God had been kicked out by the New King of Beiliang. Although his burly figure didn't fall, he slid backward for many tens of meters. The more than a hundred armored cavalrymen of the Northern Barbarians along that path were instantly scattered sideways by Tuoba Bodhisattva's retreating body, men and horses alike sent flying, also dragging down numerous innocent cavalrymen on both sides to be flung sideways and fall from their horses.

Xu Fengnian didn't seize the opportunity to press the attack. After gracefully landing, he returned his saber to its sheath.

After the dust settled, Tuoba Bodhisattva stood in place. Although he had been driven back by a single strike from Xu Fengnian, he showed no sign of discomposure. The Northern Barbarian Military God, who had always been crowned with the title of "Wang Xianzhi of the Grasslands," had arms like an ape's, and strands of golden-yellow vital energy, almost solidified, coiled and flowed around his body. Especially under the morning sun, they shimmered brightly, making him resemble a Heavenly War God, his magnificent aura unparalleled in the world.

Demolishing mountains, shaking cities, making way for a thousand armies!

Tens of thousands of Northern Barbarian cavalry in the heart of the battlefield were first shocked upon seeing this scene, then simultaneously drew their battle sabers and roared loudly.

Tuoba Bodhisattva closed his eyes, slightly raised his chin, and bathed in the sunlight, seemingly intoxicated by the vibrant life force of heaven and earth.

Xu Fengnian took a deep breath, his sleeves billowed, instantly filling with boundless righteous energy.

His left foot stepped out with a resounding boom, causing cracks to spread outward from beneath him, forming a giant spiderweb.

The next moment, Xu Fengnian appeared before Tuoba Bodhisattva, leaping high. He swung his right fist in a wide arc and slammed it violently towards Tuoba Bodhisattva's forehead.

For some reason, Tuoba Bodhisattva remained indifferent, maintaining his original posture, not moving an inch.

Xu Fengnian's punch landed, directly causing Tuoba Bodhisattva's body to sink downwards, vanishing from sight in an instant.

Xu Fengnian stood at the edge of the large crater, looking down with a frown.

Tuoba Bodhisattva stood at the bottom of the pit, slowly opening his eyes. He looked at Xu Fengnian, who had just delivered a punch imbued with the power of thunder, and curled his lips, full of sarcasm and disdain. At the same time, it was as if he was asking the young prince why he was so "polite," why he hadn't used his more lethal "Two Sleeves Green Snake" from the start.

"With such an inconsequential strike, have you, Xu Fengnian, grown too weak, or have I, Tuoba Bodhisattva, grown too strong now?"

Xu Fengnian's brow unfurled. He lightly rolled his wrists, then suddenly clenched his fists.

This time, Xu Fengnian flashed away so quickly that a puff of mist exploded from his original standing position.

Xu Fengnian, clad in his purple-gold princely python robe, left a long black rainbow in his wake as he charged forward.

No one on the battlefield clearly saw how the young prince struck. They only vaguely perceived Tuoba Bodhisattva, glowing with golden light, being repeatedly thrown back for dozens of meters after being struck by the black rainbow. The black rainbow followed like a shadow; Tuoba Bodhisattva, seemingly enveloped by golden-yellow flood dragons, was repeatedly slammed backward.

Along that straight line, over a hundred Northern Barbarian cavalrymen who couldn't dodge were instantly dismembered, men and horses alike. Those who were directly hit were reduced to dust and bones.

The tremendous sounds generated by the collisions of the two Grandmasters always arrived belatedly, sounding extremely delayed.

Punches landed with brutal force, devoid of any flashy, impractical moves, or grand and world-shaking unique skills.

Instead, it was like a brutal brawl between country bumpkins, a straightforward back-and-forth.

It was purely because the combatants were Xu Fengnian and Tuoba Bodhisattva—Vajra Realm against Vajra Realm!

With Xu Fengnian’s current vital energy and physique, his speed was akin to a flying sword that reaches wherever one's mind wills. Yet, each time he charged to pursue Tuoba Bodhisattva, he would take a step that appeared cumbersome and redundant but was actually profoundly subtle. This was not the Daoist art of 'shrinking the ground to an inch,' but rather the 'entry stance' of Liu Haoshi, the gatekeeper of Taian City, from years past. Liu Haoshi had once used this stance to begin his entry into the city from ten li away, starting with a mere inch or so, a distance a child could step, and with the final step covering a hundred zhang. The key was the continuous accumulation of momentum throughout. This had a similar effect to "White Fox Face's" technique of "one stop layered upon another," which deterred Tuoba Bodhisattva later. White Fox Face once said that twelve stops could kill a Heavenly Phenomenon Realm expert, and below sixteen stops, even a celestial being's physique would be like paper. After eighteen stops, "before me, there are no more Land Immortals." This reached the realm of "invincible initiative" even earlier than Gu Jiantang's twelve saber strikes when he challenged the Buddhist Grand Vajra Li Dangxin on Wudang Mountain.

The contention between masters is decided by a hair's breadth. Thus, this seemingly speed-hindering step was the essence of Xu Fengnian truly seizing the initiative.

As a result, even though they were both among the Four Grandmasters of Martial Arts Ranking, it appeared as if Xu Fengnian was brutally beating Tuoba Bodhisattva from start to finish, while the latter could only parry, with no power to retaliate.

For ordinary mortals, like ants, there is no hope of sitting on a bench and watching the fight between high and mighty immortals, let alone calmly clapping and cheering, or enthusiastically commenting on the situation.

From Qi Xuanzhen's ascension to the Dao at the Demon Slaying Platform years ago, to Xu Fengnian's battle against the Dragon Tiger Mountain immortal at the Imperial Astronomical Bureau in the capital, countless blood-soaked martial artists had already proven this point.

Apart from drawing their sabers earlier to boost Tuoba Bodhisattva’s presence, the Northern Barbarian cavalry had already, under the urgent deployment of some myriarchs and chiliarchs, begun to quickly withdraw east and west, disregarding their established formations, to prevent being caught in the collateral damage of the two Grandmasters' unrestrained combat. It was a pity that the young prince, who had clearly suffered suppression by the Dao of Heaven, showed no signs of his aura weakening; his strikes remained earth-shattering and ghost-wailing. Tuoba Bodhisattva, for reasons unknown, had fallen into a dangerous situation of passively taking blows, indirectly causing over a thousand nearby cavalrymen to die by the hand of their own Military God, a truly tragic outcome.

A Northern Barbarian cavalryman, whose horse was galloping westward, suddenly felt himself lifted off the ground as if riding clouds and mist, spinning once. It turned out he had been struck near his horse's rump by Tuoba Bodhisattva's towering figure. Fortunately, Tuoba Bodhisattva only shattered the horse's rear half; the cavalryman was not immediately killed. However, he was quickly grasped by the skull by the young prince, who followed closely behind, and flung with a casual toss. The armored cavalryman was thrown directly towards Tuoba Bodhisattva, who had just slowed his body. The latter extended an arm forward, and the unfortunate cavalryman shattered with a bang, like an egg hitting a rock, upon colliding with that immense vital energy. Xu Fengnian passed through the mist of blood and pressed a hand against Tuoba Bodhisattva's chest.

Years ago, on a small path in the reed marshes outside Xiangfan City, His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince of Beiliang, had fiercely repelled Talisman General Red Armor, who was far beyond him, with a stance he had comprehended from his saber practice.

That stance was named 'Shedding Armor'!

This was the first time Xu Fengnian used a "set move" in this life-and-death battle between two Grandmasters.

Logically, Tuoba Bodhisattva's retreating momentum should have been swifter than before. Yet, at this moment, he abnormally refused to retreat a single step!

Strands of golden-yellow vital energy, as thick as an arm, roamed freely like flood dragons, appearing like a Heavenly King opening his eyes, his visage solemn and dignified.

Eighteen strands of vital energy coiled and intertwined around him, resembling eighteen flood dragons.

After withstanding the young prince's 'Shedding Armor' strike, the golden-yellow flood dragons swirled and rolled even faster, dazzling the eyes, making the already burly Tuoba Bodhisattva appear even more formidable.

Returning to original simplicity, his aura remained calm.

This was the "state of qi" that only Heavenly Phenomenon Realm martial artists or Daoist Finger-Profound True Masters could possess. All martial artists in the world dreamed of it. Second-rank mighty masters or first-rank Vajra Realm experts, when they occasionally showed their faces and traveled the martial world, often caused the greatest sensation because their qi and blood vastly surpassed ordinary martial artists, making them stand head and shoulders above others. In truth, this was largely due to their realm not being profound enough, which inspired awe.

The Peach-Blossom Deity Deng Tai'a rode a donkey and surveyed the mountains and rivers, and Grand Official Cao Changqing often traveled north alone to Taian City; they knew that a true master keeps his skills hidden.

Tuoba Bodhisattva was another special case after Wang Xianzhi of Martial Emperor City, a special case among Land Immortals. This Northern Barbarian Military God's internal vital energy was now so potent that it had to spill outwards.

The sarcasm in Tuoba Bodhisattva's eyes was intense, as he seemed to greatly despise the young prince's insignificant skill.

Xu Fengnian changed his palm into two fingers joined together, forming a sword.

Finger Sword Stance.

On the large lake outside Youyan Manor, a female qi cultivator of the Guanyin Sect once used two moves from the Finger-Profound Realm against Xu Fengnian: one named 'Pointing to Mountain,' and one 'Pointing to Sea.'

They symbolized, respectively, "pointing to mountains, mountains move to fill the sea," and "pointing to seas, seas move to destroy mountains."

Tuoba Bodhisattva also felt an unusual movement of vital energy in his chest. Weighing the pros and cons, he instantly turned sideways, dodging the young prince's pointed fingers.

As expected, just as Tuoba Bodhisattva barely managed to turn sideways and dodge that finger sword, a white rainbow of sword qi burst forth. Its formidable power was no less than a full-power sword strike by a Land Sword Immortal at close range.

However, Tuoba Bodhisattva soon showed a hint of helplessness. That seemingly aggressive "Mountain-Splitting Jiao" move sharply decreased in momentum after traveling just a few meters. At the same time, the young prince's joined fingers reverted to a palm, and the back of his hand pressed against Tuoba Bodhisattva's chest.

He swung his arm and slapped.

Stacked Thunder!

Tuoba Bodhisattva's chest felt as if struck by lightning, but he merely took a light breath, and the eighteen golden-yellow swirling flood dragons suddenly stopped, then miraculously neutralized the power of Stacked Thunder.

The instantaneous Stacked Thunder occurred six times in total, continuous and layered, progressing steadily.

After inhaling, Tuoba Bodhisattva exhaled, and the flood dragons resumed their swirling motion.

Human breathing is so ordinary. Yet, between Tuoba Bodhisattva's understated ease in a single moment of stillness and movement, the young prince's terrifying Stacked Thunder was dissolved into thin air after its second layer.

Xu Fengnian's left hand, retracted into his wide sleeve, clenched into a fist, then loosened his fingers—an equally understated movement.

Afterward, Tuoba Bodhisattva's head vibrated with great intensity, as if struck by a bell, and then his entire body was sent flying sideways.

Gu Jiantang's 'Inch Thunder' was renowned as a "thunder pond in the palm."

Tuoba Bodhisattva staggered sideways, then stamped his foot heavily on the ground, forcefully stopping his body.

The Northern Barbarian Military God raised his arm and lightly wiped away the golden-yellow blood seeping from his nose with his thumb.

Golden-yellow blood!

The former leader of the world's Buddhist sects, Dragon Tree Monk of Liangchan Temple, whom Xu Fengnian met in Northern Barbarians, had forged an indestructible Vajra physique through his supreme cultivation, and the blood in his body had transformed into golden fluid.

Eight hundred years ago, the alchemists of the Great Qin, who tirelessly ventured out to sea in search of immortals and sought elixirs of immortality for emperors, were remembered by later generations for various supernatural powers, among which turning stone into gold was undoubtedly the most fascinating. While this might be the short-sightedness of ordinary people, in fact, various Daoist branches after the Great Qin, such as the Elixir Cultivation and Talisman schools, still highly praised "turning stone into gold." The Elixir Cultivation school, in particular, imbued it with deeper implications, focusing on internal and external golden elixirs. Even the Talisman school had to advocate "internal cultivation of golden elixirs, external use of talismans." Patriarch Lu of Wudang was a great master who inherited the past and paved the way for the future of Daoist inner elixir theory. The Wudang Great Yellow Court and Dragon Tiger Mountain Jade Emperor Tower, two qi cultivation arts, the former was even regarded as having the marvel of "achieving enlightenment in one morning, ascending to immortality immediately." Therefore, the Daoist concept of turning stone into gold, and the Buddhist Chan school's indestructible golden body, which was but a step away from achieving Buddhahood, both "gold" characters carried profound meanings.

Tuoba Bodhisattva looked around, somewhat curious as to why that young mortal enemy hadn't chosen to continue suppressing him.

Had he already realized that trying to completely destroy his outwardly overflowing vital energy in one go was just wishful thinking?

Or was he secretly accumulating power, preparing his true trump card, similar to the "eighteen stops" that White Fox Face had used to force him back?

Whatever the young prince was thinking, Tuoba Bodhisattva didn't care.

Martial Arts Realm, Martial Artist Physique, Martial Arts Mindset.

A three-legged stand.

Generally speaking, it was the external physique and the internal mindset that ultimately supported the realm.

Tuoba Bodhisattva had originally been extremely proud of his physique, just like pure martial artists such as Xuanyuan Dapan of Liyang; physique was the true foundation of one's being. After his battle of borrowing a sword for a thousand li with Deng Tai'a, his mindset approached perfection, reaching its peak. However, after subsequently fighting for a thousand li across the Western Regions with Xu Fengnian, he fell into a life-threatening situation. In the battle of Longyan'er Plain, he was forced back by the White Fox Face, whose origin was strange, using the unprecedented and unmatched "eighteen stops," truly adding insult to injury. Therefore, even though his physique was now far superior to what it had been, and his realm was so high that he confidently believed he surpassed the other three Grandmasters of Martial Arts Ranking—though it was a realm achieved through unnatural acceleration, it had no real hidden dangers—the only regret, not a flaw, that remained was his mindset.

The subtlety of mindset lay in the fact that each level had its own unique completeness. Second-rank mighty masters could also achieve a spotless and flawless mindset. For example, Xuanyuan Dapan of Huishan and the current Li Houzhong, the Spear Saint of Xuelu in Liyang, were highly praised in the martial world for embodying the demeanor of masters. They were widely acknowledged to possess immense martial power but minimal martial virtue. However, within the same realm, these two were undoubtedly the closest to invincible. People of the Three Teachings who could attain the first-rank realm mostly had good-natured dispositions, but they often possessed only the realm, with combat power inferior to pure martial artists in the same realm who relatively "cultivated power but not mind." The unpredictability of mindset, however, lay in its consistently profound differences in depth. Wang Xianzhi, who had dominated the martial world for sixty years, called himself one of the top ten martial artists. He could fight nine people alone and absolutely remain invincible. This was Wang Xianzhi’s mindset, standing above everyone else, almost making people feel that this "Heaven above" old scoundrel should have ascended early, instead of staying in the human world to bully mortals.

Tuoba Bodhisattva wanted to know how that vanished young prince had achieved such a mindset. Thus, he had not retaliated, allowing Xu Fengnian to display his lifelong ultimate techniques, using Xu Fengnian as the world’s best whetstone to sharpen his own mindset.

Tuoba Bodhisattva spoke for the first time, his voice like thunder, "Xu Fengnian!"

The Northern Barbarian Military God’s fighting spirit soared, as if his earlier actions had merely been a warm-up for Xu Fengnian. It was time for Tuoba Bodhisattva to retaliate.

Xu Fengnian finally revealed his true form. Clad in a purple-gold python robe, he hovered high in the sky, looking down as he responded, "Calling your grandpa?"

Tuoba Bodhisattva looked up and sneered, "The dignified King of Beiliang, only capable of verbal jabs?!"

Xu Fengnian smiled faintly, narrowed his eyes, and looked up towards Refusal of the North City in the south.

They were coming.

Black clouds pressed down on the city.

If one spoke of unrivaled power in "borrowing swords" in the world, Li Chungang was first, and Xu Fengnian second.

That dense and immense rain of swords sweeping through the sky consisted of the "Swords of the Exiled Immortals" that had been scattered across Youzhou and Hezhou after the battle between Wudang Mountain and the Zhang family's Ultimate Sage. Although countless had been lost during that time, thousands still remained. Additionally, the Fushui and Yangying factions, joining forces with the Yulong Gang, had collected over six thousand ordinary iron swords from the martial arts world and common folk of Beiliang and Huainan.

At that moment, the three ten-thousand-man siege infantry formations of the Northern Barbarians involuntarily looked up and couldn't help but gulp.

Nearly eight thousand flying swords came from east to west, then, like iron cavalry making a sweeping arc, moved from south to north high above the southern part of Refusal of the North City, swiftly passing over this formidable border city.

Finally, all their tips pointed towards the Northern Barbarian army outside Refusal of the North City!

In a torrential downpour, no matter how heavy the rain, no one had ever heard of many dying from rainwater.

But what if the sky rained blades and flying swords?

Tuoba Bodhisattva said gravely, "You dare to be distracted controlling swords? Fengnian, you are truly courting death!"

Xu Fengnian pressed down heavily with one hand.

Eight Thousand Swords Descend!

One Sleeve Green Snake, surging like a green dragon emerging from water, rushed directly towards Tuoba Bodhisattva on the ground.

Tuoba Bodhisattva stamped his foot, creating a thunderous roar from the flat ground, and shot up. One of his golden-yellow flood dragon vital energies charged first towards Xu Fengnian.

Xu Fengnian launched eighteen "Sleeve Green Snake" sword qi strikes, one after another.

Below Refusal of the North City, although almost all Northern Barbarian infantrymen raised their shields high, desperately trying to block the incoming rain of arrows, three or four out of ten flying swords plummeting down with the force of wind and thunder still penetrated Northern Barbarian heavy shields, then iron armor, then bodies, instantly nailing over three thousand Northern Barbarian infantrymen to the ground outside Refusal of the North City.

Furthermore, over two thousand relatively lucky Northern Barbarian soldiers had their shoulders severed, thighs pierced, or insteps nailed through by flying swords. Although their lives were not in danger, their combat power was severely impaired. The three infantry formations, which had painstakingly advanced within fifty paces of the city walls, immediately fell into disarray.

From start to finish, not a single arrow had been fired from the city walls of Refusal of the North City!

Half of the eight thousand swords were broken, but over four thousand remained intact, slanted into the earth.

They resembled a formidable sword array, standing between Refusal of the North City and the Northern Barbarian army.

Such a large-scale sword manipulation against an enemy, consuming immense vital energy, would inevitably come at a heavy price when facing a Grandmaster like Tuoba Bodhisattva.

First, the magnificent Eight Thousand Swords, followed by the Eighteen Sleeve Green Snakes.

Against Tuoba Bodhisattva, who was ready and waiting with accumulated power and additionally protected by eighteen flood dragons.

The young prince's eighteen Jiao strikes were indeed shattered one by one by the golden-yellow flood dragons. Although Xu Fengnian’s "Immortal's Head Pat" still successfully landed on Tuoba Bodhisattva’s head, he was also struck in the abdomen by the latter’s punch.

Tuoba Bodhisattva, though his body swayed, moved against the flow, ascending to the heavens step by step, landing punch after punch, hitting Xu Fengnian’s arms that were blocking in front of him. The final punch directly broke through Xu Fengnian's crossed arms and smashed into his face!

The young prince's body, like one ascending to heaven in broad daylight, instantly dissipated into a sea of clouds.

Tuoba Bodhisattva hovered in mid-air, three hundred zhang above the ground.
