Chapter 1526: The One Who Looks Down on All Beings

Everyone was silent, completely unprepared for Chu Feng's move. He had acted with such overwhelming force and ruthlessness, instantly killing the Reincarnation Hunter who had been dismissive and unwilling to let him speak.

On the scene, flecks of blood had not yet fully fallen. Time seemed to freeze, creating a shocking and gruesome sight.

This Reincarnation Hunter was undoubtedly powerful, a formidable figure in his own right, yet he was instantly struck down. His initial cold demeanor gave way to sheer terror just before his face shattered into pieces, and his form and spirit dissipated.

Standing alone in the center of the scene was a single youth, his figure upright and defiant. His entire body radiated light, covered in golden runes.

This made him appear exceptionally powerful, like a young War God striding forth from ancient times. The brilliant light emanating from him illuminated the entire area, rendering him unparalleled and sacred.

Silence reigned everywhere. Everyone found it hard to believe how strong and audacious this youth was. What had he done? He had actually killed an envoy from a supreme organization!

Across the land, everyone was stunned.

After the initial quiet, a deafening clamor erupted.

Then came a fervent discussion, especially among the younger generation, whose heated arguments filled the air.

Many among the older generation were in a daze. No one knew better than them how terrifying that organization was, yet this youth had so decisively killed a Reincarnation Hunter?

Even now, many still couldn't believe it!

The Reincarnation Hunters – these beings had an incredibly profound origin, their source unimaginably terrifying.

Their very name hinted at their purpose.

Which ordinary being would dare to traverse the path of reincarnation and successfully be reborn with their memories intact? Such individuals were bound to possess extraordinary origins and an unimaginable glorious past.

Yet, despite this, the organization dared to hunt such beings and had persisted from ancient times to the present, never having been eradicated. This alone spoke volumes!

Throughout the ages, few had been able to defy their will.

At the very least, even influential figures who underwent reincarnation remained low-key, avoiding these hunters for extended periods to maintain a semblance of peace and avoid conflict.

The world was in an uproar!

"This guy is truly ruthless! I was fortunate enough to witness it today. He actually blasted a Reincarnation Hunter into bone fragments in public, splattering blood on the boundary wall. It was incredibly violent!"

"Decisive and domineering, he acts when he needs to, without any hesitation. What a young fanatic!"

Many discussed heatedly, primarily the younger generation, who cared little about the organization's power or whether it would suffocate the various races in the Yang Realm.

Some young girls even clutched their chests, feeling quite sympathetic towards Chu Feng.

"Chu Feng, such a delicate-looking youth, ethereal and otherworldly, with the aura of a banished immortal, yet forced to this point, breaking with the Reincarnation Hunters and fighting for his life. How pitiful."

"Yes, he's about to be hunted by this organization. From ancient times to the present, few have escaped the pursuit of this behemoth. His fate will be miserable."

It must be said that sometimes a clean, sunny face, pure eyes, and a delicate appearance easily elicit sympathy.

Of course, this kind of sympathy often came from specific groups, primarily younger girls.

Upon hearing such comments, their fellow disciples couldn't help but want to correct them: "He might be handsome, but where is the 'immortal aura'? Didn't you see him blast someone into bone fragments, staining the void with blood?!"

"Moreover, when he threw that punch, space itself collapsed, creating black fissures several feet wide. Anyone below the Heavenly Venerate realm would be shredded just by approaching. Is that what you call 'immortal aura'?"

However, as soon as these corrections were uttered, they were refuted by a group of sympathetic, appearance-obsessed girls.

"He was forced to act! And his future might be very grim. How many people, from ancient times to now, have escaped their pursuit after killing a Reincarnation Hunter? His pitiful end is practically visible. Don't you have any sympathy?"

What could the group of senior disciples say? They might as well just shut up!

Still, upon reflection, they admitted it was true. With a soft sigh, they concluded that Chu Feng, that madman, would likely not have a good outcome.

The various great clans were also discussing, all stunned by Chu Feng's unexpected ruthlessness.

"Did this old man see correctly? He really killed a Reincarnation Hunter?!"

This was the Third Elder of the Quasi-Immortal Race, clicking his tongue in disbelief. He had originally been actively trying to arrange for Ying Xiaoxiao and Ying Zhexian to share Chu Feng's plight.

But now, his eyes were blank with shock. What was happening? Someone was just directly beaten to death like that?!

In front of the Yang Realm's boundary wall, one could hear a pin drop. The blood on the ground was still warm, and the atmosphere was incredibly tense.

The remaining Reincarnation Hunters stared at Chu Feng, their gazes like daggers. Even they found it hard to believe how courageous this youth was.

They hadn't even made a move, yet their opponent had already launched an attack.

In their view, this was lawlessness, a defiance of reincarnation. Such a being had to be eliminated; they were a menace that could not be allowed to remain.

"Today, no one can intervene. Do not try to dissuade us. Dare to kill a Reincarnation Hunter, and neither heaven nor earth will tolerate it. Your name will be spread throughout all the heavens and myriad realms, and you will be collectively punished!" one Reincarnation Hunter stated coldly. There was no anger in his voice, only a chilling, merciless, and eerie pronouncement, sentencing Chu Feng to death.

"You are the ones who want me dead. Isn't it natural for me to act this way?" Chu Feng retorted, his hands clasped behind his back. Dao runes bloomed beneath his feet like golden lotuses, supporting his steps as he moved rapidly, pressing towards the remaining hunters.

He spoke coldly, "I fought for the Yang Realm. Whose side are you on? You arrived at the boundary wall, didn't ask about the cause, wouldn't let me speak, denied me a chance to communicate, and immediately condemned me to death. By what right do you do this?!"

Everyone was astonished. Chu Feng's aura was incredibly powerful, his entire body radiant. Even his hair became crystalline, interweaving with various dao patterns and fluttering towards the sky.

Many were alarmed, wondering if he intended to continue attacking and eliminate the remaining Reincarnation Hunters.

"Who gave you the authority? Who made you so high and mighty? Today, if you don't give me an explanation, I'll kill you all!" Chu Feng roared.

He was truly enraged. Just because he had been reborn with his memories, he was to be hunted and mercilessly executed?

By what right?

He had fought for the Yang Realm and achieved great merit. Not even the Yuan Clan dared to act rashly against him, nor had the Martial Lunatic lineage troubled him under these circumstances.

Yet, this organization adopted such an arrogant stance, looking down on him indifferently, directly condemning him without even allowing him to speak. How overbearing and self-important they were.

Therefore, Chu Feng attacked. He had never been a peaceable person, a trait evident since his days in the Lesser Netherworld.

"Who gave you the audacity?! You are mere Heavenly Venerates, yet you dare to apprehend me and accuse me? Are you all seeking death?!"

Chu Feng's voice was icy cold. Now, he hovered in mid-air, rapidly closing in, beginning to look down upon the Reincarnation Hunters.

Nearby, some people were speechless, feeling as though they too had been insulted. Even Heavenly Venerates were being belittled and underestimated, causing some old men to feel bitter.

They looked at the youthful Chu Feng, then at their own aged bodies, almost covering their faces in shame.

The Reincarnation Hunters were not as insignificant as Chu Feng made them out to be; at least one among them was a Great Heavenly Venerate, and another was a Grandmaster. Unfortunately, they were unaware of the kinds of beings Chu Feng had killed, or that he had recently slain a Grandmaster!

Moreover, they were overly confident, having arrived without bothering to investigate, unaware that he had just purified three Great Heavenly Venerates who had succumbed to darkness.

The information they had indicated Chu Feng was still merely a Constant King.

At this moment, the pupils of the Reincarnation Hunters were icy cold. Without responding to Chu Feng, they each slowly drew out special weapons: dark red long blades!

Standard issue weapons — Reincarnation Blades!

Chu Feng's pupils contracted. He had seen similar weapons on the Path of Reincarnation, but they were far inferior to these.

These were definitely upgraded versions, suitable for Heavenly Venerates.

"From the past to the present, all beings who forced their way through reincarnation with their memories eventually returned to dust. You will be no exception!"

One Reincarnation Hunter spoke. With a clang, his long blade glowed with a bloody light, its dark red edge chilling to the bone, pointing at Chu Feng.

"I detest your condescending attitude the most! You appear indifferent, able to look down on all living beings, but in reality, what are you? You are merely someone else's servants!"

"Who gave you the right to control others' lives and deaths, to condemn others at will?"

"Whose orders do you, these demons and monsters, follow, to be so overbearing, to underestimate the world, and arrogantly claim that those who obey prosper and those who defy perish?"

Chu Feng was fearless, continuing to challenge them. At the same time, a brilliant light emanated from his wrist as he took off a Vajra and held it in his hand.

Among the Reincarnation Hunters, a shriveled, four-foot-tall being stepped forward. The mist around him dispersed, revealing his true appearance.

It had a humanoid body but a spidery, unremarkable bird-like head. It also possessed a pair of decaying, avian wings.

This creature had a strange appearance but was very powerful, a Grandmaster. Wielding a Reincarnation Blade, it advanced, cold and merciless, intending to kill Chu Feng.

Beings who had reached this level were naturally incredibly confident and truly powerful themselves!

A Grandmaster among the Reincarnation Hunters had attacked!

"Chu Feng, hurry and leave!" Zhou Xi urged anxiously, fearing that the organization would send a large number of experts.

An elder from the Zhou family stepped forward, wanting to try and dissuade them again, suggesting that the Reincarnation Hunters not rush to act and that everything could be discussed.

The Grandmaster, resembling a dusty sparrow, was indifferent. He glanced at the Zhou family members and said, "You can't interfere in this matter!"

He advanced with his blade. With each step, the void would split open into black fissures several feet wide, extending unknown miles towards the horizon!

This was an extremely terrifying sight. He radiated horrifying energy; various Dao Ancestor substances and divine particles surged and fluctuated, causing distant mountains to crumble and collapse.

Many were uncontrollably forced back because the energy field emanating from this individual was too powerful.

Fortunately, there were old monsters from various clans present who immediately acted, stemming this wave of power.

The Grandmaster among the Reincarnation Hunters trod on the void, yet his footsteps resounded as if he were treading on the hearts of many. Those lacking sufficient strength could not bear it; even Heavenly Venerates turned pale and felt immense discomfort, their hearts seemingly on the verge of splitting and being coughed out.

The crimson blade light in the Grandmaster's hand grew increasingly intense, making his entire presence incredibly terrifying!

Chu Feng stood in mid-air, holding the Vajra, staring at all of them. "You want to capture me? Too bad, even all of you together aren't enough!"

Then he attacked, displaying overwhelming strength. His physical body was terrifyingly powerful; as he moved across the void, it erupted in a massive explosion, with white immortal mist boiling into a mushroom cloud.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Piercing metallic clashes rang out, sparks flew, tearing through the void and causing the sky to collapse. The sight was utterly terrifying; the Vajra and Reincarnation Blades were colliding, unleashing countless dao patterns that bloomed in the void like successive suns, dazzling and fearsome.

Chu Feng confronted the Grandmaster in a grand duel, not only holding his ground but even gaining the upper hand!

People were truly shaken. Was he actually suppressing a Grandmaster?!

Amidst the crisp clanging, people saw the Reincarnation Blade shatter into more than a dozen pieces, flying in all directions, utterly demolished by Chu Feng's Vajra.

Amidst the final runes, Chu Feng's radiance surged like a demon god, his killing intent boundless. Wielding the Vajra, he pierced through the sky and then struck through the Grandmaster, who was hovering in mid-air and rapidly retreating!

Blood splattered, staining the high heavens crimson.

Chu Feng surged past, five-colored divine light flickering behind him. He employed the Seven Treasures Mystical Art, manifesting five immortal swords from five rare materials he had collected. These swords sliced the Grandmaster apart, severing his body into several pieces, his head rolling away!

Before he could reassemble his body, the sword energy and Seven Treasures Mystical Art runes that had penetrated him fully erupted. With a puff, he disintegrated, his form and spirit vanishing.

A Grandmaster had died, slain by Chu Feng!

Boom!

The heavens and earth exploded. Chu Feng traversed the area with his physical body, moving with unrestrained power. Behind him, dense white immortal mist boiled. His true form charged towards the other individuals.

Under the shocked gazes of the various clans present and the stunned stares of onlookers from afar, he was like a battle immortal descending, unleashing a massacre, sweeping away all in his path.

Terrifying roars, followed by flashes of blood. Amidst gurgling sounds, all the remaining Reincarnation Hunters were slain by Chu Feng, not a single one left alive!

A single individual swept away all adversaries, eliminating every opponent.

The long sky was silent, save for a delicate-looking youth, his body emitting specks of golden light, standing in the void. He was no longer domineering, an ethereal aura now permeating him.
