Chapter 1583: Throwing the Table

Time seemed to stand still, the scene between heaven and earth frozen in that instant. Utter destruction shocked the world.

The powerful figures had fallen, and the scene seemed to solidify.

In the frozen tableau, golden Roc wings thousands of feet long, mountain-sized primordial ape heads, the tattered beak of a Three-legged Golden Crow, and the arm bones of human powerhouses all hung suspended in the void. They seemed to have broken free from the constraints of time, motionless.

The guqin's destructive power far surpassed Chu Feng's imagination. After annihilating the surrounding enemies, it inexplicably froze time, plunging heaven and earth into a brief silence.

Then, with a deafening roar, the surrounding landscape collapsed. The entire great wilderness was leveled, and only then did time resume its flow.

The suspended Roc wings, arms, and other fragments all vanished. The blood mist evaporated, leaving nothing behind.

A terrifying light erupted from Chu Feng, forming ripples that swept across the world in all directions. Not a single mountain remained; they were all reduced to dust!

The entire landscape was left utterly barren. Both the enemies and the vast, towering mountains had been obliterated, vanishing without a trace.

The stark contrast was terrifying: from a massive gathering of enemies earlier, surrounding the entire wilderness with countless powerful figures, to now a desolate, barren landscape, not a blade of grass in sight, and no sign of human life for thousands of miles. The silence was unnerving.

Only Chu Feng remained, seated cross-legged on the ground. His entire body was enveloped in a ball of light, radiating an aura completely distinct from his surroundings.

He felt a warmth spread through his entire body as his foundation was being replenished. Years of depletion and the fatigue brought on by super-evolution were rapidly receding. From the inside out, he gradually became vibrant and felt better than ever before.

The stone guqin's most crucial function was to nourish the body, a benefit he had experienced before and which was now reaffirmed.

As for its destructive power, it seemed to be merely a secondary effect.

In the depths of the Reincarnation Road, Chu Feng had acquired a significant amount of celestial nectar from the Myriad Worlds Reincarnation Lotus and stored it within his body. The guqin's music was now helping him refine and fully absorb it.

This process was now greatly accelerated!

He felt vibrant and full of energy, on the verge of another evolution. He wouldn't have to wait years; perhaps his body would fully recover within a few days.

The scene itself was eerily quiet, yet outside, the world was in an uproar!

The great wilderness was barren, with only Chu Feng remaining.

Outside, however, chaos reigned. This battle was simply too astonishing, a miracle among miracles. Who could have imagined such an outcome before it even began?

One person facing eight hundred Reincarnation Hunters – these were monsters who had endured through the ages. Even a young Heavenly Emperor would be unable to win against them!

Add to that the combined might of over thirty 'Foragers' – peak powerhouses from various eras – who would dare claim victory in such a confrontation?!

With such a lineup cornering one individual, how could anyone break through or survive? It was simply impossible!

Yet, Chu Feng had accomplished it. He had single-handedly annihilated the multitude of enemies, a feat astounding enough to shock all worlds!

It was well known that these hunters, particularly the peerless Foragers among them, were the elite chosen from various realms, each once a renowned figure in their respective world.

Now, this 'collection' of elites from across all eras had been obliterated; they were all dead!

It was as if the sky had fallen and the earth had crumbled; people simply couldn't believe it. Such a battle outcome was too fantastical. Even if Heavenly Emperor Ye, mentioned by the black dog, were to return, or 'that one' revered by Nine Dao One were to reappear, it's hard to say how they would fare at this level, facing the combined might of heroes from all eras.

"Oh my heavens!"

"Am I going mad, or has this world gone insane? One person crushing enemies from all directions… did he truly accomplish that?!"

"I can't believe it! Those were Foragers, the strongest from their respective eras! They failed even when they joined forces. How on earth did Chu Feng manage this?"

Both the Divine-Demonic Civilization Zone and the Technological Civilization Zone erupted in an uproar after witnessing this scene through their observation mirrors.

Even renowned figures and ancient monsters who had awakened from long slumbers were left dumbfounded and incredulous.

Many old-timers were petrified, some questioning their very existence. Had they slept for tens of thousands of years, only to awaken to an era completely transformed, a world no longer recognizable?

"Are young people nowadays truly this formidable? I merely injured my divine soul in the recent ancient era and took a nap. Has the world changed so drastically in just a few eras? The younger generation is awe-inspiring!"

"With eras changing and the Great Dao transforming, have we been rendered obsolete? If young people are now this ferocious, perhaps I should simply return to my slumber?"

Some of these ancient monsters truly began to doubt their own existence.

Even they, powerful as they were, couldn't discern how those individuals had perished from the blurry images transmitted by the observation mirrors. They simply found Chu Feng utterly inexplicable.

This achievement surpassed all expectations, a true myth, sending shivers down the spines of all factions. Even the patriarchs of some super families were left speechless.

As for those hostile to Chu Feng, they felt as if they had plummeted into an abyss, struck by terror. How could he possibly have won against such odds?

In the Yuan Clan, an elder nearing the Grand Universe level was utterly flustered, his mind somewhat dazed by the revelation.

"This brat from later generations... is he truly this monstrous, this terrifying?!"

Meanwhile, the younger generation of cultivators from the recent ancient era, particularly those who harbored animosity towards Chu Feng, felt as if they were suffocating.

"This is too fake! Is this even real? The observation mirror must be malfunctioning!" exclaimed someone, unable to accept the reality.

The entire world had utterly erupted.

Across the Yang Realm, whether it was the Ten Great Dao Lineages, ancient and venerable super-races, or the unfathomable forbidden lands, all were rendered speechless.

"I knew it, Brother Chu Feng never loses; he's truly invincible!" declared the silver-haired girl, Ying Xiaoxiao, tossing her long hair as she hummed a defiant tune at her brother, Ying Wudi.

Within a forbidden zone in the Yang Realm, amidst swirling gray mist, a humanoid entity coalesced and then dispersed. Even the Gray Race was shocked that someone dared to consume their kind!

The entire world was ablaze with fervent discussion.

Chu Feng remained seated and motionless until the ball of light surrounding him receded. Only after the celestial nectar within him was mostly refined and absorbed did he open his eyes and stand up.

At this point, a significant amount of metabolic waste, like mucus, coated his skin. He lifted his foot and, with a single step, instantly appeared at the edge of the horizon, truly mastering the art of shrinking the ground into an inch.

The next moment, he arrived at the bank of a large river, plunging into the water with a splash to cleanse himself.

Standing back on the bank, he felt utterly refreshed. His skin was radiant, and even his hair seemed to glow. This experience was akin to a rebirth; both his soul-light and physical body were brimming with vibrant life.

His underlying issues were resolved. In just a few days, he could resume his journey, begin his super-evolution anew, and once more elevate his life essence!

Chu Feng felt as though he could now punch through the firmament; his condition had never been better!

"Ultimately, two still managed to escape. A great reputation is never unfounded!" he murmured to himself, gazing at the horizon.

Under the guqin's melody, almost everyone who had come to kill him perished. Only two individuals, standing at the very back on a mountaintop, had managed to escape the deadly onslaught.

Luo Qiudao and Qi Yuntian from the Scarlet Rainbow Realm, at the very moment the guqin's notes resonated, used special realm-breaking talismans to escape into the Reincarnation Road, successfully fleeing.

"Who is he talking about? Did someone survive?" someone wondered aloud.

Soon, an elder powerhouse spoke up, revealing that Luo Qiudao and Qi Yuntian, two figures who had left indelible marks in ancient history, had survived and departed, astonishing everyone.

"Those two brats sure ran fast! I wanted to finish them all off!" Chu Feng muttered to himself.

Outside, people were speechless.

"He's truly a demon king; utterly ruthless!"

As for the two individuals in question, Luo Qiudao and Qi Yuntian, upon re-emerging from the Reincarnation Road, overheard Chu Feng's grumbling remarks.

Their faces twitched. They longed to retort, "You're the brat! In the eras we were active, your ancestors hadn't even been born yet! We've slumbered until this current age, completely losing count of how many eras have passed!"

Chu Feng had no time or inclination to ponder their resentment or mood. He prepared to contact Nine Dao One.

Because today's events had escalated significantly, the shadowy figures on the Reincarnation Road were likely seething and might disregard all decorum to eliminate him.

"Strange," Chu Feng wondered, "didn't that old man hear the commotion? Why hasn't he contacted me proactively?"

In truth, within the Two Realms Battlefield, no one was yet aware that the conflict had concluded.

Not much time had passed since the initial news that Chu Feng intended to confront the Reincarnation Road.

This was primarily because Nine Dao One had obscured the heavenly mechanisms, covering the area with Grand Dao runes to prevent anyone from leaving and interfering with the battle.

The pinnacle of obscuring heavenly mechanisms involved treating oneself no differently, effectively sealing oneself within.

Thus, the Two Realms Battlefield had become a closed world, and having been interfered with by the 'old man's hide,' they were still unaware of the external situation.

At this moment, Nine Dao One felt genuinely uncertain. Looking at the ancient Immortal King from the Reincarnation Road, he said, "At this stage, we needn't completely fall out. If that youngster wins, I'll ensure he spares a few of the most remarkable Foragers to save your dignity!"

The ancient Immortal King from the Reincarnation Road merely gave him a faint glance, seemingly unappreciative. How could he possibly be grateful? The Reincarnation Road had deployed so many top powerhouses this time; would they truly need a mere youth to show mercy? The 'old man's hide' must have gone mad to say such a thing.

"Cough!" Nine Dao One added, "Of course, if you win, there's no need to be utterly ruthless. Preserve that youngster's divine soul and grant him a chance at reincarnation!"

He said all this primarily out of fear that Chu Feng would meet a tragic end. He wanted to secure a path to survival for him, dreading his complete annihilation.

He knew that those from the Reincarnation Road possessed many methods. If a remnant soul could be preserved, they could naturally use their power of reincarnation to facilitate rebirth.

Thus, all his elaborate groundwork was driven by his concern for Chu Feng, as he lacked confidence in him.

"Heh, fellow Daoist, I fear you might be too late," the Immortal King from the Reincarnation Road said flatly. "Even if we wished to show mercy, it's likely too late. How much longer could such a battle possibly last? I believe that young Daoist is already on his way. Hmm, if he's fortunate, perhaps a wisp of obsession might remain. As for a remnant soul, don't even bother hoping."

By all appearances, he seemed to be mocking Nine Dao One, implying that their lineage had overestimated themselves and spurred their descendants towards certain death.

Nine Dao One was enraged and humiliated, yet helpless. He couldn't comprehend why Chu Feng had seemingly gone mad, insisting on fighting to the death.

Nevertheless, Nine Dao One began to act, preparing to lift the Grand Dao runes shrouding the Two Realms Battlefield, no longer intending to obscure the heavenly mechanisms.

Nine Dao One felt bewildered himself. Why had he listened to that brat Chu Feng and joined in his madness? It was tantamount to endangering the boy's life and, at the same time, it brought dishonor to his own old face, being subjected to such nonchalant mockery.

At their level, such subtle mockery was, in fact, a harsh slap to his aged face.

The mysterious ancient Immortal King from the Reincarnation Road further provoked Nine Dao One, his face utterly cold. "Heh, release the Grand Dao runes and let us see what has happened outside. Fellow Daoist, act quickly; perhaps you can still preserve a wisp of his remnant soul and pray for his next life!"

The Two Realms Battlefield harbored many ancient beings, many of them formidable powerhouses, such as decaying Grand Universe creatures and true immortal-level patriarchs.

There were even cultivators from other worlds, such as the ancient ancestors of the Yuan Clan and the Four Calamity Sparrow Clan, who were comparable to Immortal Kings.

Now, the reactions of the various clans varied. Some were indifferent, while others had a slight smirk, tinged with mockery.

Others, like Zhou Xi, were filled with anxiety and worry.

Boom!

The grand curtain in the sky parted, and then the entire world gradually became clear. Simultaneously, people immediately received numerous messages from the outside.

First to be heard was the somewhat somber Nine Dao One. The snow-white magic conch on his person vibrated like a massive loudspeaker, blaring out what sounded like "noise."

"Senior, why aren't you answering me?"

"Senior Nine, where did you go?"

"Old Nine, are you still alive?"

"I say, Old Nine, if you really kick the bucket, I'm taking off!"

Undoubtedly, it was Chu Feng's voice, amplified like a giant loudspeaker, constantly broadcasting through the magic conch, ensuring everyone on the Two Realms Battlefield heard his "noise."

Nine Dao One was initially stunned: "This kid is alive?" His astonishment quickly turned to joy, but then he became enraged and humiliated. What was this little rascal calling him?

Moreover, this brat was so impudent as to question whether he was still among the living, suggesting he had died?!

The expressions on everyone's faces were priceless.

Nine Dao One wished he could immediately crush the snow-white magic conch on his person; it was utterly humiliating.

Zhou Xi, Yao Yao, Old Gu, and others stared in a daze, then erupted in joyous surprise. Ouyang Dalong even let out a strange yell.

The Yuan Clan, Four Calamity Sparrow, and others all had strange expressions. "What's happening? That kid is still alive?"

The mysterious Immortal King who had emerged from the Reincarnation Road naturally changed expression instantly.

"Kid, where are your opponents?" Nine Dao One asked, opening his special Immortal Eyes. His gaze pierced through the void, observing the barren wilderness.

Everyone else wanted to know as well.

"I swept them all away, sent them on their journey," Chu Feng responded casually, though he felt quite guilty. After all, he'd just been addressing Nine Dao One as 'Old Nine' repeatedly and was afraid of repercussions.

"How much time has passed?" the short old man from the renowned mountain, who studied temporal scriptures and had once personally subdued the Martial Lunatic, couldn't help but interject, his voice piercing through the void and echoing across the vast wilderness.

"The beginning was the end. In the snap of a finger, all enemies were reduced to dust!" Chu Feng declared, standing with his hands clasped behind his back, striking a pose of unrivaled solitude.

In truth, he was frantically muttering to Nine Dao One in his mind, hoping to elicit a response and warn him to be cautious, lest the people from the Reincarnation Road become desperate and attack him.

"Old Ancestor, the mission failed!" Luo Qiudao announced, appearing.

"All eight hundred Reincarnation Hunters and thirty-four Foragers have been reduced to dust!" Qi Yuntian added, also appearing.

"What?!" The mysterious Immortal King from the Reincarnation Road instantly widened his eyes. Around him, terrifying paths of reincarnation materialized, piercing through the void, while chaotic lightning violently erupted.

"Can't you handle losing? Want to flip the table?!" Nine Dao One sneered, though inwardly he felt immensely satisfied. In the end, it was the other party whose face had been thoroughly slapped, leaving him feeling comfortable from head to toe.

"We *are* flipping the table! What can you do about it?!" The mysterious Immortal King from the Reincarnation Road retorted, his voice chillingly cold.
