Perhaps the title wasn't well-chosen; ever since I started writing *Sheng Xu*, my back has ached, my legs have cramped, and even the chronic leg pain from my youth has flared up.
This isn't entirely a joke.
For over a year now, updates haven't been frequent, primarily because my physical condition has been very poor. Various issues, including cervical spondylosis, migraines, and tenosynovitis, have all flared up.
Recently, my updates have finally accelerated significantly. To put it in a way you'd appreciate, I came from the mountains, lived a second life, defeated the red-haired monster, conquered the eerie and ominous, all just to stand before you and complete *Sheng Xu* for you.
To be honest, after over a year of recuperation and regular exercise, my health has finally almost recovered.
Actually, I had a lot to say after finishing the book, but when it came time to write, I found I couldn't; only exhaustion remained. Writing a book for such a long time truly drains one's spirit and energy. This should be my last ultra-long novel; I likely won't write another book of this length again.
I think writing a book for one or two years is more suitable; this one was simply too long and too tiring to complete.
I don't have any special reflections to share; everything is in the book. It records my physical condition, and the highs and lows of my mental state at the time are all reflected within its pages.
Now, only exhaustion remains, so I won't say much more. Having written this far, I truly don't want to move; I just want to rest.
Oh, by the way, there's also an important extra chapter for *Sheng Xu*. It's a crucial supplement to the ending, so don't miss it.
For the new book, let's meet on May 1st! The concept is already well-developed.
I will get my body in good shape to write a super exciting new book for all my readers, delivering it in the best possible condition.
Thank you to every friend who has read my books; thank you all!
