“The Seventh Harbinger?”Chen Ling paused, surprised to hear those words.Weren't there only six Harbingers in total? How could there be a seventh?

As the audience expectation value suddenly surged, Chen Ling's eyes lit up. He grabbed the cultist by the collar, pointed at the stone tablet, and ordered, "Translate this word for word for me... I can't read the scribbles your Crimson Sky Cult writes."The Crimson Sky Cultist was speechless.
Under Chen Ling's coercion, the Crimson Sky Cultist translated the text on the stone tablet piece by piece.
The stone tablet recorded a mysterious entity that appeared after the Great Cataclysm. Described as a gray, six-winged angel suspended high in the sky, its appearance was typically accompanied by widespread "deathly silence," leading to its name, "Angel of Silence."
The space around it seemed to possess extreme instability, causing it to perform spatial jumps without warning or pattern. One moment it might be above a certain domain, and the next it would vanish without a trace, appearing in an uncharted corner of the Grey World, or even within a Harbinger's territory.
Initially, it was active during the period following the Great Cataclysm. Human cities witnessed its appearance on multiple occasions, but its actions typically lacked clear purpose, appearing abruptly and disappearing just as quickly. Furthermore, as humanity was just beginning to grasp the concept of "Harbingers," some people directly categorized this non-terrestrial entity as one of them.
However, people later discovered that the Angel of Silence had never attacked humans, so they ceased to pay it much attention. As time passed, its appearances became increasingly infrequent, eventually disappearing entirely from human domains. Consequently, people gradually forgot its existence.
After three hundred years of change following the Great Cataclysm, records of the Angel of Silence no longer existed in human domains. Only a small fraction of the population, having inherited legends passed down orally from their ancestors, still believed in its existence, even revering it as a deity destined to save humanity.
The Crimson Sky Cult, however, preserved this stone tablet to record information about the Angel of Silence because they knew the Angel had not vanished.
Humanity's understanding of it was limited to human society and its domains, but the Crimson Sky Cult, rooted in the Grey World, had witnessed more of its deeds.
According to their records, during the Great Cataclysm, the Angel of Silence appeared unexpectedly in the Mountains of Illusion and engaged in a fierce battle with the Calamity of Illusion. After severely injuring and nearly killing the Calamity, it abruptly disappeared without a trace.
Even the Crimson Sky Cult's main headquarters had witnessed its appearance.
However, the Angel of Silence merely hovered above the headquarters for a moment before flapping its wings and departing, vanishing into the depths of the Grey World.
Upon hearing this, Chen Ling immediately recalled what Shen Nan had mentioned earlier: that when he had just performed the God-Worship Dance, attracting the Grey World's attention, Shen Nan's consciousness had coincidentally seen a six-winged angel deep within the Grey World.
Presumably, what Shen Nan saw was the "Angel of Silence" recorded on the Crimson Sky Cult's stone tablet.
"An angel... such a thing actually exists in this world?" Chen Ling murmured to himself.
Chen Ling pondered for a moment, then asked:
"So your Crimson Sky Cult kept this stone tablet simply to record its existence?"
The Crimson Sky Cultist hesitated before speaking:
"Our cult master believes this Angel of Silence might be connected to the origin of the Supreme Crimson Sky Savior and Sovereign..."
Chen Ling's brow furrowed immediately. The Supreme Crimson Sky Savior and Sovereign was the Red Star worshipped by the Crimson Sky Cultists. Could this Angel of Silence truly be linked to the Red Star's origin? What exactly was the Red Star's origin?
Chen Ling walked to the back of the stone tablet. There appeared to be a map, though it was extremely roughly drawn, merely indicating a direction amidst a region of calamity.
"What's this?"
"The direction the Angel of Silence headed after leaving our headquarters back then... Several of our archbishops believe it might be hidden there, as that was the last time it was sighted."
Seeing the arrow's direction on the stone tablet, Chen Ling's eyebrow rose slightly...
The location marked on the tablet was not far from the Abyss of Ghostly Mockery; rather, it was deeper within the Grey World, behind the Abyss, but only a general direction was indicated, not a precise spot.
This surprised Chen Ling. Could there truly be an unknown, mysterious angel hidden deep within the Grey World behind the Abyss of Ghostly Mockery?
After returning, he definitely had to find time to explore it...
It was an excellent way to increase audience expectation.
"You did very well," Chen Ling said, turning to the Crimson Sky Cultist in his grasp. "Since you translated for me, you can choose a dining utensil you like."
The Crimson Sky Cultist: ???
A red paper tentacle slithered onto Chen Ling's hand, flicking its tip like a viper's tongue.
"Name a dining utensil," Chen Ling repeated.
"A... a fo-fork... A fork?"
The moment the cultist's words ended, the red paper tentacle pierced his throat.
As crimson blood spurted out, Chen Ling gently raised his hand. A fork was clutched between his fingers. After he infused it with soul energy, the fork immediately began to tremble, then fearfully leaped back to the ground, rolling about.

Chen Ling cast a final glance at the towering stone tablet, then turned and walked towards the chaotic village center. With a casual flick of his voluminous red opera robe, a boning knife automatically flew out, arcing through the air before streaking like lightning towards the tablet!
Boom—!!
The boning knife pierced the stone tablet, instantly shattering it.
Chen Ling had already memorized the route on the stone tablet, so he naturally had to destroy it to prevent others from crossing the Abyss of Ghostly Mockery to search for the Angel of Silence.
By then, the Crimson Sky Cult's branch was in complete disarray due to Chen Ling's appearance. Many cultists had left the vicinity of the torches, attempting to flee into the Grey World. However, they had no idea that an eighth-tier poison viper and an entire scorpion legion awaited them.
This was Chen Ling's main reason for bringing Xie Yi and the others... allowing any Crimson Sky Cultist to leave alive would be a waste of the Red Star's power of vows.
Amidst the distant chirping of venomous insects, the screams of the Crimson Sky Cultists rose and fell. They seemed to realize that this was an inescapable trap and began retreating frantically back towards the village.
The voluminous red opera robe strolled through the chaotic village;
Towards the blazing torches, a group of Crimson Sky Cultists, bishops, and even archbishops simultaneously turned towards Chen Ling. Among them, two archbishops glared at him, gripping their bone weapons, and charged towards him with determined roars, as if burning their bridges.
The brilliant light of the torches illuminated countless figures making a desperate last stand. Chen Ling slowly came to a halt.
His opera robe visibly began to take on a hint of black!
