The towering peak shook violently, and the ground trembled along with it, developing numerous cracks that continuously widened.

Wang Qingshan, Wang Qingling, and others were also in a state of disarray. Had they not cultivated their Dao bodies, they would have been in serious trouble when this space collapsed.

Long, Zhu, and Jiao appeared on the distant horizon, swiftly flying towards their location.

"Green Lotus Immortals! Today marks your end," Zhu declared, his tone icy.

"It's not certain whose end it will be!" a cold female voice responded from the sky.

As soon as the words fell, a golden streak of light flew in from afar, stopping with a flash. The light receded, revealing a golden, shimmering flying boat with a full-figured woman in a golden dress and Nine Thunders inside.

"Nine Thunders, you're alive? And who is that Dao Ancestor reborn beside you?" Zhu asked.

"Does every new Dao Ancestor have to be a reincarnation?" the woman in the golden dress scoffed.

Lin Feng, a late-stage Dao Ancestor, had established seven fundamental laws.

Dao Ancestor Tatian and Mo Yinyin flew over from the distance, their expressions grave.

Yan Xiao arrived from afar, stopping with a flash. He casually released a red light curtain that enveloped him and Long, saying, "Lord Sha has ordered us to retreat first and fully protect Commander He."

"What's going on?" Long asked, frowning.

"Zhou Dian is suspected of having discovered Commander He's hiding place and eliminated two protectors who had established eight fundamental laws. Commander He is still in deep slumber and must not be disturbed. Lord Sha has ordered us to return and defend completely," Yan Xiao explained.

The Primal Chaos Beast Ancestor was in slumber somewhere, also healing, guarded by many masters. Its outermost defenses included Dao Ancestors who had established eight fundamental laws. Zhou Dian had discovered one of these strongholds and annihilated two Chaos Beasts there.

"What! How did the news leak? Where is Zhou Dian?!" Long exclaimed, his voice heavy.

"I'm not sure. Lord Lang arrived and forced Zhou Dian to retreat. We received intelligence that two Dao Ancestors from the Immortal Realm who established nine fundamental laws, Dao Ancestor Jiuxiao and Dao Ancestor Hongchen, have been missing for hundreds of millions of years. We don't know if they are hiding somewhere, but Zhou Dian might have contacted them," Yan Xiao replied.

The Primal Chaos Beast Ancestor had not yet fully recovered. If Zhou Dian and other Dao Ancestors were to attack, they could very well eliminate the Primal Chaos Beast Ancestor.

"Understood, we'll retreat first!" Long said.

While the Green Lotus Immortals were certainly a threat, they weren't immediately fatal. The threat posed by Zhou Dian and other powerful figures was far greater.

Yan Xiao nodded and withdrew the red light curtain.

"Let's withdraw!" Long ordered.

"What? Retreat?" Jiao asked, somewhat unwillingly.

"This is Lord Sha's command; we must obey," Long stated.

The Chaos Beasts exchanged glances, then retreated with covering fire.

Wang Changsheng and his group did not obstruct them. Strictly speaking, they lacked the power to do so; they weren't confident in eliminating three ten-colored Chaos Beasts, each having established eight fundamental laws.

They had obtained a good deal of immortal cultivation resources in the ruins. What they needed now was time to digest these resources, strengthen themselves, and better cope with the Chaos Beasts.

"Let's head back too!" Mo Yinyin suggested.

The group flew into the distance, returning to Green Lotus Immortal Island and arriving at the reception hall.

Mo Yinyin briefly introduced Dao Ancestor Tatian and the other Dao Ancestors, allowing Wang Changsheng, Wang Ruyan, Wang Qingshan, and the others to get acquainted.
