Xu Zhi often claimed he wasn't one to stir up trouble, unlike protagonists in novels and movies who, starting from weakness, would recklessly wander without fear of death. He preferred to cultivate in seclusion, emerging only after becoming invincible and capable of sweeping through the entire universe.

He had always acted accordingly.

He dedicated himself to researching the extraordinary world and deducing its systems in seclusion. It wasn't until he was nearly Tier 9 that he began engaging with the former Teal civilization and later the Abyssal Blue race. This wasn't due to a reluctance to continue his secluded cultivation for more time, but rather a necessity at his current level to comprehend the universe's rules and the nature of the external world.

While his outward posture was one of relaxed seclusion, ignoring external affairs, he exhibited considerable daring when it came to internally deducing the sandbox world.

"Fortune favors the bold, while the timid starve," Xu Zhi muttered, his expression stern as he sat in his chair.

As soon as this incredibly audacious and fantastical notion surfaced, he felt an uncontrollable surge of primal power within him. The idea of creating a world grew increasingly intense and difficult to suppress.

The magnificent spectacle of Medusa's previous cosmic big bang and subsequent collapse remained vivid in his mind.

Regardless, he was determined to give it a try.

He tapped his fingertips and gazed out the window.

"The Abyssal Blue Divine Realm can remain on that land without issue," he mused. "After all, 80% of their Dao attainers have been depleted, leaving only minor figures and no noteworthy bloodlines. I can safely ignore them and continue my secluded cultivation, deducing the extraordinary sandbox."

"Ultimately, as Autumn Mountain Car Speed previously suggested, I need to remain hidden, and this land requires at least a nominal ruler. The Abyssal Blue Divine Realm is perfectly suited to continue governing this territory."

As for the Three Great Celestials and Stone Disc—these newly advanced Tier 10 ultimate beings?

Xu Zhi had indeed considered assimilating them into the Zerg race.

However, upon reflection, the Emperor might not currently be able to defeat them, especially not all four working together.

In any case, they wouldn't escape, and he had already subdued them. He could afford to wait, continuing his cultivation and deducing the extraordinary sandbox until he was fully capable of subduing them and converting them into Zerg.

There was absolutely no rush for this.

"The Abyssal Blue Divine Realm civilization is effectively guarding the entrance, which is good," he mused. "As for the Nine-Headed Ancient Mother, she likely won't recover for quite some time." Having completed his external rounds and thoroughly handled all foreign affairs, Xu Zhi, ever the laid-back individual, prepared to resume his secluded cultivation.

He had always considered himself not to be the restless type who roamed about aimlessly.

After all, he had a fairly comprehensive understanding of the external world's dynamics and truly had no immediate intention of venturing out to seek out Tier 10 ultimate beings only to be defeated.

"Genesis, Genesis..." Xu Zhi murmured, taking a deep breath, standing up, and pacing back and forth.

"Tier 10 ultimate," he pondered. "I must also initiate a new plan. I understand Medusa's principles, but if I create a universe with laws that don't belong to this one, how will it resist assimilation by the greater cosmos?"

He fell into deep contemplation.

This represented an extremely powerful repulsive force.

It was akin to foreign bacteria appearing within the body of a cosmic giant, where the powerful immune system would simply expel them.

So, how could one prevent being destroyed or assimilated?

The power of the entire universe is boundless. Even a Tier 10 ultimate being is merely an insignificant bacterium parasitizing the giant's body, unable to resist that "heavenly might." Even other Tier 10 ultimates were perishing due to assimilation.

While the aspiration of humanity conquering nature is beautiful, everyone knows that the entire cosmos and nature are fundamentally irresistible. This holds true for everything from earthquakes, tsunamis, and storms to realms beyond the universe, and for all beings, from the weakest to the strongest.

"If resistance is futile, is there a compromise?" Xu Zhi pondered deeply, as if a sudden realization had struck him. "Caroline used the Heavenly Dao Piano for temporary conversion, but it only lasted for a few seconds before vanishing. What if I could achieve a stable conversion, a consistently powered output port?"

It was like individual water droplets falling into a desert, existing for only a few seconds before dissipating.

However, if a continuous, steady stream of droplets fell, it could form a persistent column of water. Though it would eventually be absorbed by the vast desert, as long as the flow was maintained, the "water stream" would remain stable.

"The principle is simple," he theorized. "As long as the rate of conversion output matches the rate of assimilation by the universe, the laws of this universe will not vanish. However, this approach would necessitate an immense amount of energy to sustain the conversion."

While this might seem impossible due to the immense energy consumption, in reality, it wasn't entirely out of reach.

Using a sun as a power source, for instance, could provide enough energy for his conversion for a significant period. As a Tier 10 ultimate, he was capable of harnessing a sun.

"The greatest challenge—maintaining the existence of laws—has been resolved," Xu Zhi murmured. He sat at his desk, habitually jotting notes for his "Genesis" project. "However, if I were to create a truly distinct universe, it would imply complete assimilation by the greater cosmos. The effort required to maintain such a universe would be far too immense!"

Xu Zhi continued to write, his pen moving steadily.

"Currently, my capabilities allow me to create only a similar universe," he wrote. "It would also feature the four fundamental forces and mostly consistent laws, with only minor differences—less than 10%—in a few core laws. Maintaining these slightly differing laws would keep the energy consumption manageable."

One should not underestimate this seemingly small percentage.

This represented a modification of the fundamental rules of the universe!

For instance, even a less than 1% alteration to the parameters of the law of light would result in a fundamentally different universe.

Humans and mice share an 80% genetic similarity, yet a mere 20% difference is enough to classify them as distinct organisms. Even humans and bananas share a 60% genetic similarity, illustrating how a minuscule change can lead to a world of difference.

"Theoretically, it's feasible," Xu Zhi affirmed, his expression growing brighter.

"The universe is like an ocean," he mused. "Right now, it's akin to a fish leaping out of the water. Although the fish will eventually return to the ocean, if it continuously leaps, it will create a 'rainbow of fish' suspended above the surface of the sea..."

Do not underestimate this concept; it represents an unimaginable, chilling implication.

It's akin to leaping out of the entire universe itself; the horror inherent in that is unfathomable.

"Zerg Sub-Brain, what are your thoughts?" Xu Zhi inquired. The undertaking was immense, and he felt compelled to ask, even though he suspected the response might not offer much useful information.

At that moment, the Zerg Sub-Brain responded, "This represents an entirely novel method, unprecedented in the entire universe. Even successive Zerg Overminds have never possessed such a capability."

Xu Zhi nodded. The Heavenly Dao Piano was, without a doubt, remarkably profound.

Its emergence depended on an extraordinary confluence of chance and luck. Had Medusa not deduced the universe, that particular phenomenon would never have been witnessed.

Without witnessing that phenomenon, the Heavenly Dao Piano would not have come into existence.

Medusa's cosmic big bang Dao technique served as a momentary generator, while the Heavenly Dao Piano functioned as a sustaining component. Without this crucial part, all of Xu Zhi's theories would remain nothing more than wishful thinking.

"Does this imply a probability of success?" Xu Zhi asked.

The Zerg Sub-Brain's voice relayed: "However, you must be cautious. The creation of a pseudo-Dao universe is exceedingly rare, and your method is entirely unprecedented, allowing it to take root within this universe. It's possible that ancient ultimate beings from across the entire multiverse will descend upon this dimension. You must be careful not to be killed."

Xu Zhi paused, bewildered.

He was momentarily speechless. He was merely cultivating his extraordinary world within his private sandbox; could it truly be such a monumental affair?
