Xu Zhi felt that the ultimate tenth-level realm, which was previously vague, had now become much clearer. He was a tenth-level descendant, and although his status was humble, none of that was an issue in his eyes anymore. What if they could sense him? As long as they couldn't find his exact location, there was nothing to fear. The Insect Race sub-brain had told him so much simply to clarify the tenth-level structure for Xu Zhi and to fill in the common knowledge he lacked as an incomplete tenth-level being.
Xu Zhi believed that since he wasn't going out, and was creating a transcendent mini-world at home, whatever world-shaking events happened outside were irrelevant to him. He just needed to develop normally, according to his envisioned civilization progress.
"Well then, let's begin... First, to establish the world's framework, I need a large number of output terminals for creation laws—the Heavenly Dao Pianos." Xu Zhi took a deep breath.
The Heavenly Dao Piano was the only heroic-level bloodline, and like the Phoenix, it was an unreplicable being in the gene pool, a special mutated bloodline that could not be mass-produced. But that didn't deter Xu Zhi. The Alchemy Factory, a copycat type of bloodline, could still replicate it, though it was quite complex.
Xu Zhi waved his hand, summoning Qiu Mingshan Che Su. Qiu Mingshan Che Su had been researching new bloodlines in the Immortal Palace of the Seven Realms' Heavenly Court when the world suddenly spun around him. Opening his eyes, he was startled and respectfully asked, "Lord Ancestor, how may I help you?"
"This," Xu Zhi asked, his voice cold, "can it be cloned?" Xu Zhi presented the Heavenly Dao Piano and stated, "This bloodline will be of great use."
Upon seeing the Heavenly Dao Piano, Qiu Mingshan Che Su was overjoyed, bursting into a delighted laugh. "Yes, absolutely yes!" he exclaimed. He was secretly thrilled, knowing that the 'little bitch' Heavenly Dao Piano, whose evolved knowledge was no less than his own and who constantly bickered with him, calling him an idiot, was finally within his grasp.
The Ancient God raised an eyebrow. "Study it well."
Qiu Mingshan Che Su, his face alight with excitement, spent several days on the task. Living up to expectations, he presented his conclusion: "The complexity of this bloodline is extraordinarily high. Even if I clone it, it will only have one-tenth of the original's power... This is already an exceptional performance."
Xu Zhi was unconcerned. "Then we'll win by quantity. Clone ten thousand of them first."
To construct a world, Xu Zhi definitely needed a large-scale, stable piano array for creating laws. Even if it differed slightly from the main universe, it would still require at least hundreds of laws. These laws would constantly be assimilated and needed continuous maintenance. Hundreds of units would be needed to maintain the supply for a single law, so ten thousand units was normal; it might even be insufficient in the future.
Xu Zhi felt he was embarking on a massive project, like launching a rocket or satellite, but what he was launching was a universe—a festering tumor rooted within the greater universe.
Qiu Mingshan Che Su's face went completely dark. What did ten thousand units even mean? It could literally work him to death! He was utterly unnerved, and after thinking it over, he couldn't recall any significant animosity with the Ancient God, yet ten thousand units...
"Can you do it?" the Ancient God asked, his voice leaving no room for doubt.
"Yes, I suppose I can..." Qiu Mingshan Che Su replied, looking distraught.
Xu Zhi ignored him, leaving him there with a massive supply of energy, to serve as a ruthless production tool.
"These piano arrays will also need a continuous energy supply. I'll have to find a sun to provide the energy..." Xu Zhi took a step and leaped into the starry void, searching for a desolate, uninhabited area. After several jumps, he landed before a colossal sun, feeling quite satisfied.
"The new transcendent sandbox world I'm creating isn't large; its beings are on the ant level, as smaller is better... But maintaining a stable consumption rate is still too much. A single sun, I wonder how long it will last before I drain it... And the speed at which energy can be extracted from one sun is limited. The rest will have to be supplemented from the Insect Race Mother Empress's Great Extinction."
He continued his preparations, taking stock of everything. After all, Medusa's Great Cosmic Explosion Dao Law was like a rootless flame that, within seconds of appearing, would be assimilated and extinguished by the greater universe. The Heavenly Dao Pianos and the solar power furnace Xu Zhi was now seeking were like the candlestick for that flame, intended to provide continuous supply and keep the flame from dying out.
"I am stealing the universe's energy to cultivate a universe... If the Heavenly Dao of the entire universe were conscious, it would surely try to eradicate me, because I am like a cancerous cell, frantically sucking nutrients from its body, taking root and growing." Xu Zhi felt as if he had truly become an Insect Race natural disaster, destroying and devouring everything.
Next, he closed his eyes and entered the state of the Great Universe Quantum War Body, organizing Medusa's Dao Law and his understanding of the entire cosmic Dao. He had to master this technique. Furthermore, he had to thoroughly comprehend it and even surpass Medusa. This was the fundamental prerequisite for creating this sandbox. If he couldn't do that, his audacious idea of simulating a Big Bang would be virtually impossible!
However, he also possessed the means to surpass Medusa. This was because the insights of over four thousand fallen Daoists, countless gods, and Heavenly Emperors—their various understandings of their own bloodlines and of the world—all appeared in Xu Zhi's mind. The martial arts of the Great Universe held no combat power, but the sheer terror lay in their knowledge.
He pondered deeply, his tenth-level demonic core brain operating at an unprecedented, ancient, and peerless speed. Seven days later, Xu Zhi slowly opened his eyes, a profound glint flashing within them. "It's almost done... After all, it was just about thorough comprehension, integrating and analyzing all the knowledge..."
He disappeared from where he stood. When he reappeared a second later, he had invisibly partitioned the entire Dimension Courtyard of the God of Destruction, placing it into his Void Ring, and then dropped it back onto this solar land. Meanwhile, inside the courtyard, Naysethra and even the spore life forms remained completely unaware of this event, due to the isolation provided by the Insect Race protective barrier.
"The God of Destruction's Dimension Courtyard will be settled here." Xu Zhi looked at the evolving spores in the courtyard and Naysethra sitting on the small stool. "This scene, this Genesis, must certainly be shown to the Insect Race. Right now, this is their viewing platform. The prelude to every cosmic Big Bang, such a spectacle, is a great opportunity. How could I let them miss it?"
Three days in real-time, or three hundred years for Qiu Mingshan Che Su, had passed. He had completely exhausted himself, producing approximately eight thousand Heavenly Dao Pianos. To prevent any future issues, Xu Zhi erased Qiu Mingshan Che Su's memories of producing these pianos, as Qiu Mingshan Che Su's mind was truly sharp and might otherwise have deduced something significant.
"It's almost ready. Everything is in place." Xu Zhi looked at the Heavenly Dao Pianos, his thoughts settling. "In the tenth-level era, everyone has a Dao field. How could I not have one? Creating an innovative transcendent cosmic sandbox is also a good option."
