Footsteps echoed.

Within the golden, resplendent Palace of Light, countless ancient beings gathered.

The Emperor sat on the high throne. This majestic, shadowed entity, hidden for eons, who had finally emerged to dominate all under heaven, now surveyed the beings below.

"Esteemed ones, you may begin your discourse," the Emperor said.

Tu Xin was the first to step forward, saying, "Observing natural history across billions of years, I believe the opportunity lies beyond the universe, within the endless void."

"Oh?" the Emperor mused softly.

Tu Xin stated solemnly, "What we call a singularity may not be the only singularity! And what we call truth may not be the only truth! Perhaps beyond our universe, there exist other, different truths of the Great Dao? If we can capture and integrate them into other singularities, we could transform and transcend... This might be the path to breakthrough for the Eleventh Order, continuously traversing various universes, merging their singularities, similar to the Tenth Order's Multiverse Sages!"

"Therefore, we must observe extraterrestrial life and discover other potential grand universes! This is no different from a planet studying extraterrestrial life... And now, for us new giant life forms, the nine great universes are like nine continents. Exploring the starry skies beyond our domain might be an inevitability."

Tu Xin proposed the "Theory of Extraterrestrial Life."

"My suggestion is to observe what lies beyond! Emulate the mortals on ordinary planets who gaze at the vast sky, building unimaginable telescopes, even spaceships... or even transforming our entire grand universe into a mobile spaceship, constantly traversing the void to seek out the singularities of external civilizations."

Tu Xin's words were utterly forthright, representing a path of profound simplicity.

The Emperor remarked, "This suggestion indeed aligns with the development of your new humanity. Perhaps, had no variables arisen, your surface life on the nine continents truly would have ventured into outer space?"

Tu Xin remained silent. The Emperor, originating from prehistoric times, naturally knew the future; how could he not know their future development?

The Emperor smiled, looking at Tu Xin's detailed blueprints. "You are granted a seat on the Great Dao."

"Yes," Tu Xin stepped forward.

At this moment, Zhi Zhu also spoke, saying, "My suggestion is similar to Tu Xin's, yet different!"

"He advocates searching for extraterrestrial life, while I advocate searching for the scattered matter and energy in the vast external void, devouring it to expand our universe's area!"

Zhi Zhu calmly stated, "Extraterrestrial life is simply too distant! Another grand universe is a concept akin to a miracle! However, seeking out external matter and energy to expand our universe holds the greatest possibility. I am a pragmatist! According to the mapping of cosmic models, the collapse and return of our universe's singularity forms a vast, boundless circle. Yet, beyond the reach of this collapse, there must be an enormous amount of matter and energy, too far to be absorbed, scattered throughout the void. If we collect this, expanding the capacity of our universe, perhaps our universe's dimensions could once again be elevated, leading to the emergence of a new Eleventh Order, or even new realms and methods."

Zhi Zhu proposed the "Theory of Cosmic Expansion." He reviewed the entire history of the universe and ultimately discovered that the universe continuously ascends in dimension as it becomes larger and more complete, allowing it to contain increasingly higher levels of life. He believed the current era was no different from previous ones. It was also because the universe was not complete, large, or mature enough that it could not break through to higher-dimensional life forms. A small bottle cannot contain a grander existence.

"You also seek something external." The Emperor pondered, "But the direction is distinctly different: expanding our universe... Zhi Zhu, you are already of the Eleventh Order, so you naturally already have your seat."

Zhi Zhu nodded. Having attained the Eleventh Order, there was nothing left to do. What the Emperor wished him to pursue was precisely what he himself desired. The strong should continuously seek the future, marching boldly forward, expanding their territory!

"While they study the external, we study the internal." At this moment, the successive Zerg Mother Emperors stepped forward, stating coldly, "We have studied for a thousand years and discovered that the 'Myriad Worlds' hold great potential... The number of Eleventh Orders in the universe is constant, but is that truly so? Perhaps even the small universes within the Myriad Worlds could have a chance to attain the Eleventh Order... It would be incredibly difficult, though, as they are too small!"

They spoke with conviction, "They cannot attain the Dao because if one likens a multiverse's Great Dao blueprint tree to a towering tree, then a small universe is merely a breakthrough sapling the size of a fungus, thus preventing breakthrough to truth using that blueprint!"

"Our intention is to continue studying the Myriad Worlds, overcoming this difficulty, and making the number of Eleventh Order seats infinite!" The Zerg Mother Emperors were even more audacious. They stated that the evolution of life and the evolution of the universes within the Myriad Worlds surprisingly shared a similar profound principle, a massive coincidence. They believed their talent could be fully unleashed within the Myriad Worlds.

"If there's no possibility, we will create one!" Their voices were cold.

"If this can be achieved, it will be the greatest breakthrough in cosmic history," the Emperor smiled faintly, looking at their detailed plan. "You are granted a seat."

But the next second, another Zerg Mother Emperor came forward and presented yet another plan. They were incredibly audacious, wanting more than just one seat.

One by one, beings stepped forward, and the future of the entire universe was thoroughly, albeit preliminarily, planned. The Emperor sat high above, his expression stern, listening intently.

Ultimately, the eight new Great Dao seats in the universe were firmly established, with each of the eight individuals presiding over a segment of the multiverse.

*Boom!*

The ten Great Dao seats of the universe were completely filled.

Immense radiance surged from the cosmic ground, reflecting boundless platinum-gold light—the source of everything, the wellspring of truth. Those ten points of light spun across the cosmos like ultimate stars, beautiful beyond measure, so resplendent that they made everyone tremble. The sky appeared to be ablaze. Everyone, across all multiverses, clearly saw a majestic figure suspended above their own universe, slowly gazing down upon the cosmic expanse.

"Ten Sages manifest the Dao, proving eternal truth!"

This scene would forever be etched as a mural of eternal myth. Everyone understood the grandeur of this moment, yet history always preferred to describe prosperous scenes with the simplest words:

At the end of the Cosmic Era, Ten Sages attested to the Heavens, and the Heavenly Dao began to form.

A new era had truly begun. Everything was in full swing; the various Truth-bearing entities began to fully manage their respective universes, experimenting with infinite possibilities for the future.

Xu Zhi ultimately returned to his orchard on Earth. He sipped his tea again, ate fruit, observed the developmental trajectories of the various universes, and continued to tend his orchard, slowly watering and fertilizing. "It seems I don't need to worry about those fellows anymore," he thought.

Xu Zhi remained at ease, returning to tranquility, living once again as an ordinary person. This was where it all began. Although the Zerg Mother Emperor he had found here was currently somewhat bewildered. She still believed Xu Zhi was an ancient being from a prehistoric universe, waiting for her downfall here, secretly plotting against her. But he truly was just an unremarkable, terminally ill ordinary person back then.

"I truly am not from prehistoric times." Xu Zhi stood up from the tea table, went to the side, and tore a page from a calendar. "Tomorrow is my twenty-ninth birthday... Time truly flies."

Time flew by, and the great wheel of history rolled on.

"In that moment, everyone appeared unconcerned, yet they became the most brilliant part, embedded in murals, for future generations looking back on history."

"His imposing and domineering figure, solidified on the throne for eternity!"

In the future, a seemingly unremarkable young All-Heavens Balloonfish Sage, who had been there, still remembered witnessing that splendid scene while prostrate in a corner of the palace. He was not the strongest, but he was one of the longest-living beings. Later, in his old age, he retired to an orchard. He was often visited by young beings from later eras, answering 1.47 million times their questions about the events of that day.

This venerable old sage sat in his rocking chair, caressing the mural, on which all were depicted, including many astonishing young beings from later generations. Whenever he spoke to the visiting heroes about that majestic, domineering figure who had severed ancient taboos, his gaze always held deep admiration, and he repeatedly uttered the same phrase:

"This era is unprecedented."

"An era of equality for all beings, of unimaginable justice and fairness, exists solely because of one person. You, who can live in this prosperous era, should feel honored."

The old man looked up at the sky, spending the happiest life with his beloved Du Xue beside him, and smiled, "When heroes grow in the cradle of a just future, their brave figures will leap forth like all historical luminaries, to challenge our omnipotent Lord, and write a vast epic of civilization."

"To make oneself an adversary—what unparalleled freedom and might is that?"

Finally, this old man, who had recounted the story of his life, uttered a sentence that seemed to hold extraordinary significance for him:

"If the Lord were to fall today, then I would live until the day after tomorrow—those two days solely to narrate the Lord's life to future generations, to declare that the Lord's demise would surely signify the beginning of decay. Then, with a heart full of pride, amidst despair, I would elaborate on the story of our Lord, who stood alone through all eternity."

Everyone was left in shock. To make oneself an adversary, standing supreme throughout eternity, blocking everyone, yet if defeated, the universe might face a catastrophe and darkness... What a paradox! Yet, everyone surprisingly found it reasonable. Perhaps only such an existence could make it seem logical.

"There are many things you cannot comprehend, and even we have much that remains unclear, which we ponder day and night." This aged sage sat in the orchard, eating an apple, sipping tea, his posture serene. "Have you learned? This is our Lord's demeanor."

— The End.
